20 Best Anime Action Movies
Image
One of the biggest trademarks of anime is its proclivity for intense action, leading to some of the greatest actions movies of all time. While many great shows have nothing to do with the genre, many of the biggest anime in history have been ones that have had a heavy focus on action, whether it be grounded in reality or the fantastical.

Feature-length anime films are often when animators are given complete time and freedom on a project, and that often leads to anime movies focused on action, which takes their stories and animation to incredible levels, especially if they were part of an ongoing franchise, and being some of the best things to watch in the entire medium. This has always been the case for old and new movies alike, with a few taking it far enough to be some of the best action-centric anime films for fans to watch.

Best Bleach Espada Battles, Ranked
Image
In Bleach, the Espada are considered the ten strongest Arrancar in Sosuke Aizen's army. Like other Arrancar, the Espada were once Menos-class Hollows who were granted Soul Reaper powers via the Hogyoku. As a result, they all possess a Zanpakuto, and they all have a Resurreccion release. Most of the Espada were Vasto Lorde or Adjuchas-level Menos, but one was a Gillian. The Espada were involved in several high-profile fights, but certain fights stand out more than others.

The majority of the best Espada fights involve Captain-level Soul Reapers who can use Bankai, but there is also a good fight that involved a current and former Espada. Most of these fights have great choreography, and they typically have high stakes. These fights also feature unique abilities and a fair bit of character development.

Blade Runner: Black Lotus (2021)
Alcon Has 2 Employees Whose Jobs Are to Keep the ‘Blade Runner’ Timeline Straight
Blade Runner: Black Lotus (2021)
Adult Swim and Crunchyroll’s upcoming animated series “Blade Runner: Black Lotus” takes place between the events of Ridley Scott’s 1982 classic “Blade Runner” and Denis Villeneuve’s 2017 sequel “Blade Runner: 2049.” Set in a futuristic world that plays by its own very strict rules, the minds behind the series at Alcon Entertainment, the owner of the “keeper” of the “Blade Runner” IP, strived to make sure that everything in their new series did in fact play by those rules.

Lucky for the “Black Lotus” team, there are already people at Alcon who spend their days keeping the “Blade Runner” timeline straight.

“We have two people who work for us at Alcon whose— I wouldn’t say it’s their full-time job, (but) it’s the majority of their job,” Andrew Kosgrove, the co-founder and co-ceo of Alcon, said Tuesday during a virtual panel at the Television Critics Association’s press tour.
