Onat Kutlar was born on 25 January 1936 in Alanya, Antalya, Turkey. He was a writer and producer, known for A Season in Hakkari (1983), Yusuf and Kenan (1979) and Loves with Gravity (1995). He was married to Filiz Bozkurt. He died on 11 January 1995 in Istanbul, Turkey.
