Bonnie-Jill Laflin joined forces with Napa-based charity Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch (Jarr) at their annual wine auction on Saturday, July 29th to help raise much-needed funds for animals.

Held at the Gamble Family Vineyards the event exceeded expectations and raised $1.4 million. Funds raised will help drive Jarr’s mission of building a state-of-the-art animal rescue, and sanctuary in the Napa Valley, fund programs and to disaster relief for animals.

Bonnie-Jill Laflin, well known as the first female NBA scout in history will emcee a rescued animal Pet Parade at the yearly fundraiser for {Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch} (Jarr), WineaPAWlooza.

An ardent animal lover, Laflin who is also a model, sportscaster (ESPN and Kcal CBS), a former cheerleader for the Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys and star of VH1 reality TV show Basketball Wives, will introduce the special line up of goats, donkeys, pigs, dogs and other furry friends.

“As a passionate animal advocate, I am excited to be visiting the beautiful Napa Valley and partnering with Jameson Animal Rescue at WineaPAWlooza this year,” said Laflin, “I was in Napa when the horrific fires broke out and my heart was with all the animals that suffered through it all. The organization had recently endured through the North Bay fires rescuing and evacuating animals, supplying food and temporary shelter to displaced animals, and funding veterinary care.

The early evening reception held a private estate in Beverly Hills was attended by Jon Huertas (“This Is Us”, Donna D’Errico (“Baywatch”), Patrika Darbo (Emmy winner, (“The Bold & The Beautiful”), Seba Johnson (Olympian), Bonnie-Jill Laflin (“Basketball Wives”), Cerina Vincent (“Stuck InThe Middle”), Chrystal Hunt (Emmy nominee, “One Life To Live”), and Jillian Rose Reed (“Awkward”).
