'Grimm' Season 3 clip: Juliette fights back in 'Eyes of the Beholder'
Juliette Silverton has clearly been self-defense classes during her offscreen time on "Grimm." In a new clip from Season 3, Bitsie Tulloch's character defends her friend Alicia, played by Alicia Lagano, from attacking ex Joe (Tom Walton).

The clip from "Eyes of the Beholder" comes courtesy of TVLine. In the video, Juliette proves she can certainly pack a wallop when she needs to, especially when it's to protect her friend.

It seems as though "Eyes of the Beholder" will pick up in the aftermath of last week's cliffhanger ending in "Red Menace." During a recent interview, Tulloch told Zap2it that this action sequence was more than she was expecting.

"That's definitely the biggest action sequence I've done so far. It was almost eight-and-a-half, nine hours straight of doing stunts. My back hurt for two weeks," she recalls.

"Grimm" airs Fridays on NBC at 9 p.m. Et/Pt.

'Grimm' Season 3: Bitsie Tulloch teases Juliette's big Wesen story arc
When "Grimm" returns Friday (Jan. 3) from its fall finale, the NBC series is going to be putting leading lady Bitsie Tulloch front and center. Her character Juliette Silverton has been adjusting surprisingly well to the Wesen world ever since discovering her boyfriend Nick (David Guintoli) is a Grimm, but the upcoming two-episode arc will put that knowledge to the test.

Back when "Grimm" Season 3 premiered, it was teased that a person from Juliette's past is a Wesen. That storyline is finally coming to fruition with episode 9 "Red Menace" and episode 10 "Eyes of the Beholder."

"One of [Juliette's] best friends is in a tremendous amount of peril, and Juliette kind of ends up inadvertently being the only one that can save her," Tulloch teases to Zap2it. "That's definitely the biggest action sequence I've done so far. It was almost eight-and-a-half, nine hours straight of doing stunts. My back hurt for two weeks.

The Client List: Cancelled on Lifetime, No Season Three
Lifetime has pulled the plug on The Client List. There won't be a third season of the Jennifer Love Hewitt drama.

The Client List began as a Lifetime movie and then became a TV series. It follows a housewife and mom (Hewitt) who's abandoned by her husband. To support her family, she starts working at a spa that turns out to offer more than just massages. Others in the cast include Loretta Devine, Colin Egglesfield, Rebecca Field, Naturi Naughton, Alicia Lagano, Kathleen York, Brian Hallisay, and Cybill Shepherd.

Season one averaged 2.51 million viewers and that led to a second season renewal. Those 15 episodes drew 2.05 million.

The third season renewal was supposedly being held up because Lifetime and the producers were trying to figure out how to handle Hewitt’s real-life pregnancy. Hewitt, who is also an executive producer, wanted the...

Castle season 6 episode 4 review: Number One Fan
Review Laura Akers 21 Oct 2013 - 06:24

Castle's sixth season delivers a classic episode. Here's Laura's review of Number One Fan...

This review contains spoilers.

6.4 Number One Fan

That sound you heard at the end of this week’s Castle? That was a shared sigh of relief when we found out that Andrew Marlowe was done torturing us, at least for a while. Because this week was classic Castle.

Beckett may be out of work and out of sorts, but it seems to have had no effect on her relationship with Castle. “I don’t know what to do,” she laments. “ ”I’ve got some ideas,” Castle quips. Cute. But the conversation is a serious one and sets up a potential point of conflict between the two: Beckett has always made her own way in the world and found herself in and through her work. Unemployed, she’s adrift. But as Castle begins to intimate,...

Castle Round Table: "Number One Fan"
Richard Castle met his "Number One Fan" this week and she even managed to dot the i in Writer... with a bullet to his vest.

Below, TV Fanatics Jim Garner, Chandel Charles, and Christine Orlando are joined by Denise from the Castle Fan Forum the 12th for their weekly Round Table discussion, as they debate the stupidest thing Castle has ever done and why Pi has free range over the loft. Gather around and join in now!

-------------------------------------------

What's the stupidest thing you can recall Richard Castle doing on the show?

Jim: Oh goodness, there are so many. This may not be the stupidest, but I have to go with Richard convincing Kate to hide in the closet so his mom wouldn't find out about them. Still makes me laugh today.

Chandel: Let's roll it all the way back to the pilot when he took down the man holding him at gunpoint,...

Castle Review: She Dotted the i!
It took Richard Castle's "Number One Fan" to set things right once again at the 12th precinct - and I couldn't be happier.

So let's start at the beginning…

Just as I had hoped, Kate Beckett was in an emotional free fall after her firing from the FBI. She was even floundering around in Castle's bed, lamenting her options since the NYPD refused to let her back in due to a hiring freeze.

Kate: What am I going to do, just sleep in every morning and screw around till the phone rings? What kind of life is that?

Castle: Mine. | permalink

And you can't say Castle doesn't make it look good. But how about a whole new theme for Castle season 6? Kate Beckett: Mall Cop. Probably not, but Beckett's probably the only woman in the world who could rock that uniform.

Moving on…

The loft has gotten way too cozy.

‘Castle’: Murderer Is Not An Adjective, It’s a Setup
There’s nothing like going to the dentist for your biannual cleaning only to be taken hostage by a manic woman who claims she’s being set up for the murder of her boyfriend. Unless you’re Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion), the woman’s favorite author, who gets called in as hostage negotiator. That may have been preferable to having his mother, daughter, and his daughter’s new boyfriend invading his and Beckett’s (Stana Katic) privacy back at the homestead.

Aside from the odd request for Castle to prove Emma’s (Alicia Lagano) innocence, the other point of interest in the opening minutes of “Number One Fan” is that Beckett didn’t automatically get her job back with the NYPD after being fired by the FBI ...

'Castle' spoilers: A hostage crisis brings Billy Miller and Alicia Lagano
"Castle" Season 6 continues to bring in the guest stars -- Billy Miller and Alicia Lagano have been cast in episode 4, a story focusing on a hostage crisis. "Number One Fan" is expected to air Oct. 14 on ABC.

Lagano ("The Client List") will play a character named Emma Briggs (as reported by TVLine). She is described as a fugitive from the law, even before she takes a group of people hostage. Strangely, Emma will not talk to the police: She only wants to speak to Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion).

Why is that? GiveMeMyRemote quotes "Castle" executive producer Andrew Marlowe for the answer: "Castle is enlisted in a hostage crisis as a negotiator because the woman doesn't trust police, and she's kind of his number one fan," he explained.

Just who are these hostages that need Castle to save them? Miller ("The Young and the Restless") is one of them, a quick-tempered...

Alicia Lagano Set to take Castle Season 6 Hostage
With Castle’s sixth season coming in hot and fast this fall, there’s no better way to prepare for the weekly adventures of Castle and Beckett than by obsessing over the godlike qualities of star Nathan Fillion. It’s easy for a fan to take a dive off the deep end when it comes to their love for a particular celebrity, but what about when that fan sneaks past security and becomes a part of the very show they watch? Alicia Lagano may be a actress, but that doesn’t mean she’s a not a rabid Nathan Fillion fan chomping at the bit to get his autograph. And she’s going to get her chance.

According to TVLine, Lagano was cast in the fourth episode of Season 6, playing Emma Briggs, a fugitive who takes several people hostage. When it comes time to negotiate, Briggs makes demands to only speak with Castle.

‘The Client List’ Clip: Jennifer Love Hewitt Rocks Out To Bonnie Raitt
Riley gives her friends ‘Something To Talk About’ in this clip from Sunday’s all-new ‘Client List.’ Watch!

As the world waits patiently for Jennifer Love Hewitt to release another album — “BareNaked” still lives an active lifestyle on my iPod — this new clip from the April 14 episode of Lifetime’s The Client List will have to tide us over. In the video, obtained exclusively by HollywoodLife.com, Riley steps away from The Rub of Sugarland and gets to use her hands for a different purpose: holding a microphone!

But while Riley’s rousing rendition of Bonnie Raitt‘s timeless classic is obviously the main attraction, there are a few sideshows going on in the audience — like Derek (Rob Mayes) and Selena (Alicia Lagano), who already start planning a secret, sexy rendezvous before Riley even belts out her last note.

Plus, there’s Evan (Colin Egglesfield) can’t take his eyes off Riley.

A woman being held captive talks with another who also appears to be in the same position. One of them mentions her husband (there's a clue since she wants to see her husband) and breaks loose of her ties. They reach the opening at the top and one of them is pulled back whilst the other escapes, running into a neighbour. (Jesus Ruiz) Why was that gate open, shouldn't it have been shut so no one could get in? The police arrive to find the other woman's Db. Natalia (Eva Larue) comments they missed him. Horatio (David Caruso) "That was all that was needed." Natalia finds food cartons and Me Tom (Christian Clemenson) says she was bound with her own belt and clothing. Whatever Happened To.... the cast of "The Truth About Jane"
On any given day, Lifetime Movie Network might be airing The Truth About Jane. The 2000 made-for-tv film was about a teenage girl coming to terms with her sexuality, and her mother's struggle to understand it herself. Stockard Channing boosted the film's star power and it was a touching portrait of how a family works together in coming out, acceptance and realizing that unconditional love is what's most important.

So, whatever happened to Stockard and the women of The Truth About Jane?

Stockard Channing (Jane's homophobic-turned-understanding mother)

Although her most famous role will always be Rizzo in Grease, Stockard has worked in both TV and film since 1971. After a starring role on The West Wing, she appeared in Multiple Sarcasms, lent her voice to The Cleveland Show and is now working on a new film (A Fonder Heart) with Daryl Hannah and Rebecca De Mornay.

Ellen Muth (Jane, a 16-year-old lesbian...

Episode Recap: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - 11.02: "Pool Shark"
The shark attack in the pool in the opening scene was more of an episode storyline you would acquaint with CSI:Miami (TV) than Vegas. But at least it was different, though I didn't much like this episode, it wasn't as explosive and fast paced as the season opener. Yet it did have some redeeming features, such as allowing Wendy (Liz Vassey) to come back to give a proper ending to her character. She will be missed. Also Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) having a "Kodak" moment about her late father. Also the story of casino bosses rivalries is the usual stuff of Vegas and has been covered before in the show. This is Brass's (Paul Guilfoyle) "first shark call out" as he puts it and that was the first of many puns and fishy jokes floating around throughout the whole episode, as was expected. Also got that 'funny' music you associate with...

Sliff 2009 Review: Albino Farm
Whereas audiences may usually expect a film festival to be comprised solely of artsy dramas and foreign films, Albino Farm is a breath of fresh air as one of three horror films that spice up the Sliff lineup this year. The film was written and directed by Joe Anderson and Sean McEwen. The story follows four college students who venture deep into the Ozark mountains to research a school cultural project. When a flat tire leaves them stranded in a small backwoods town, their adventurous spirit and lack of respect and maturity lead them directly into danger from a secret society of deranged and sadistic redneck religious freaks.

The cast of unsuspecting college students includes four staples of the slasher genre, including Brian (Nick Richey) the Seann William Scott style smart mouth guy along with Sanjay (Sunkrish Bala) the straight guy, in this case along the vein of Kal Penn,...

Albino Farm (DVD Review)
I should probably hate Albino Farm; the Mti Home Video release has all the ingredients of irritatingly shallow horror. Yet as hard as I try to push it away, I have to embrace it. I should make a disclaimer before we continue: I have a perhaps irrational enthusiasm for the foolish-travelers-meet-awesome-looking-mutants-who-eat-people subgenre. From The Hills Have Eyes to Wrong Turn 2…I love ’em all. When I learned I was being assigned a film called Albino Farm, my eyes lit up with childlike wonder.

I was disappointed. Yet I was not entirely let down.

Joe Anderson and Sean McEwen wrote/directed/produced this tragic tale of four stereotypically ignorant college kids with distinct horror personality types. Stacey (Australian star Tammin Sursok) is the kind-hearted All-American girl. Melody (Alicia Lagano) is the foul-mouthed tough chick; her apparent boyfriend Brian (Nick Richey) is the obnoxious frat-boy jerk. Sanjay (Sunkrish Bala) is the...

Down on the Albino Farm
Horror cinema has for some time mined folklore for inspiration, whether it be Eastern Europe’s belief in vampirism or Mexico’s love affair with the goat-sucking chupacabra. American filmmakers Sean McEwen and Joe Anderson, whose feature Albino Farm hits DVD September 22 from Mti Home Video, followed suit in crafting their backwoods fright feature.

“One of the original ideas we kept coming back to,” McEwen tells Fango on the set, “was based on an actual legend specific to southern Missouri and the Ozarks about the ‘albino farm.’ There was a good foundation for a story, but it definitely needed a lot of meat put on its bones, which also gave us the opportunity to really take the creative ball and run with it.”

To help explain the urban legend from which the film’s storyline is derived (while driving to southern Missouri on a “travel day” following the previous evening’s lightning strike,...
