Taylor Hayes is an iconic character on The Bold and the Beautiful. There’s been many actresses who played the beloved doctor, but Hunter Tylo is the most famous. It’s been six years since Tylo’s final appearance and she’s opening up about the show recasting her role.

Seal Of Approval?

Tylo originated the role of Taylor in 1990 and played the world-renowned psychiatrist on and off until 2019. Taylor was a popular character whose feud with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) over Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) dominated the airwaves.

When the show wanted Taylor to come back in 2021, they reached out to Tylo. However, the actress turned them down. In an interview with The Unexpected Cosmology, Tylo recalled telling her bosses she didn’t want to return. “They said, ‘Well, if you don’t, then we are going to recast you.’ I said, ‘Okay, all right.”

Grace Buckingham Confesses

With John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) standing next to her, Grace admits Liam never had a tumor. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) mouths fall open!

They are misunderstanding so Grace just smiles at Finn. Lope continues gushing about Grace being a saint. This is making her feel guilty. Finn tells Liam to stop talking and let Grace make her statement about the brain tumor.

Grace says she did something. The scans took longer than they should have. She changed the brain scans. The doctor is ashamed but Liam is confused. Hope is confused, too.

The tumor was never there, Grace blurts out.

Nick’s return to The Bold and the Beautiful thrilled fans. They looked forward to the beloved sailor reuniting with his lost love, Brooke. After months of anticipation, he was left brokenhearted. Brick’s reconciliation left fans feeling empty inside. Did the show waste Jack Wagner’s return?

Breaking Up Bridge, Once and For All

B&b mostly focused on Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) burning love for Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). She was determined to make him see that they were “destiny.” But he moved on with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). The two were engaged to be married for a third time.

However, that might change. Ridge chased Brooke around Italy. He didn’t like seeing her go on a romantic boat trip with Nick (Jack Wagner), who wanted to win her back. He hoped that Brooke would finally see her “destiny” differently.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) saved Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) life. That is the created climax that can justify one of this soap opera’s all-time couples’ next reunion.

Brooke was reckless, but so was Nick Marone (Jack Wagner). His rushed attempt to woo Lang’s character as part of an engagement effort resulted in disaster.

The boat Nick captained had a faulty steering wheel, which caused him to nearly crash into another vessel. He avoided that impact but fell and hit his head, while Brooke was thrown overboard.

Eight Plus Eight Equals Disorder

Brooke’s choice to lounge on the back of the boat, without any restraint, was reckless. Ironically, that’s why Ridge broke from her in the past and most recently.

His choice to commit to Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) earlier this year and to get engaged happened for a specific reason.

Grace’s (Cassandra Creech) visit had Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle) terrified for a hot second. Was the cancer back? Is Liam still dying? Imagine their (temporary) relief to hear that no, Liam is good. No tumor here. Wait, no tumor? For a hot second, they took that to mean the cancer was gone and sang Grace’s praises. She’s a miracle worker! An angel! A saint! A hero!. Imagine their shock when Finn shut that down. No more waxing poetic of the “good” doc!

We only heard this news from Grace, who then couldn’t stop hammering John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) about Liam seeking treatment.

After Liam’s alleged tumor removal surgery, Finn’s suspicions truly began because nobody could recover as quickly as Miracle Man Liam. A gunshot wound to brain surgery and suddenly he is just fine? How could that even be?

It makes absolutely no sense. When Finn saw the small, shallow incision on the back of Liam’s head, he was sure something was up.
