What does Code Of Evil have in common with Transformers and GI Joe?

Frederic Doss… A war veteran and true “American Hero,” serving his country as an Air Force captain in Afghanistan. Doss has appeared in Transformers, GI Joe: Rise Of Cobra, USA’s In Plain Sight, and the Emmy winning Breaking Bad. The Code Of Evil team is excited to welcome him aboard!

Written and directed by Kerry Beyer (Spirit Camp), Code Of Evil is a Sci-Fi/Horror that follows a band of misfits trapped on a hostile alien planet - unknowingly holding the fate of mankind in their survival. Brittney Karbowski (Soul Eater), Kelly Burns Smith (The Toy Box), Kerry Beyer (Walker Texas Ranger), and John Lansch (Chase) are also attached to star.

An upcoming Sci-Fi/Horror film called Code Of Evil has been creating some internet buzz lately, and we've got the details for you below. From the trailer, this looks to be a pretty balls out movie with some decent 3D effects going on, making it already feels like we are in for quite a ride. The new millenium has initiated the terribly tragic demise of some of the most influential deranged deviants in the history of horror films. A plethora of wimpy Jason Voorhees and Michael Meyers wannabes has submerged the slasher sub-genre in a swampy, leech-infested lake leaving me with no other choice but to accept the inevitable: my once immortal horror heroes have sadly been plagued with mortality by much tamer modern day manifestations of the macabre. Independent writer/director and owner & founder of production company Kerosene Films, Kerry Beyer takes a playful stab at re-inventing and ultimately redefining some of the greatest monumental machete-wielding maniacs ever to slash their ways through horror history.

North American Motion Pictures (Namp) has announced that 13teen, a film that "teeters on the razor-thin line between sanity and insanity", will be dropping onto DVD on February 16th. In addition, if you team up with friends to buy three DVDs of the film, you'll receive one free Blu-ray!

The synopsis for the film, which was written and directed by Pritesh Chheda and stars Amanda Brown, John Lansch, Marc Hustvedt, and Trent Batey, follows:

Emeryville: population 73,250, including one feared serial killer on the loose who carves the number 13 into his victims’ chests.

Sara is home alone on a stormy night when there is a knock at the door. Andrew, a real estate consultant, has stopped by regarding the sale of her house. Problem is, the house isn’t for sale. Against her better judgment, she grants Andrew shelter from the rain.

But tension builds as Andrew, talking about his impending custody battle for his daughter,...

Shock Till You Drop is reporting the release of North American Motion Picture's 13 Teen. Available to horror fans February 16 on DVD the artwork for the disc is shown here and a synopsis below. Released in a limited fashion in 2005 again in 2006, and now in 2009 the film seems to be struggling to find an audience. Previously known as For Sale by Owner, this Pritesh Chheda release is receiving only moderate reviews, so is the film worth watching or purchasing? Fans will have to drop a line if you have seen the flick to let others know lowdown on 13 Teen.
