Cindy Leadbetter

Cindy Leadbetter is an American actress and model who gained recognition through her work in both modeling and European cinema during the late 1970s and 1980s. She hails from Los Angeles, California, and began her career in the entertainment industry through modeling. She became a Playmate for the Italian edition of Playboy magazine in September 1978, and also appeared in Playmen magazine. She made her film debut in Luigi Cozzi's science fiction film Starcrash (1978), where she played the role of Amazon Woman. Following her debut, Leadbetter established herself primarily in Italian genre cinema, appearing in various films throughout the late 1970s and 1980s. Her notable film appearances include Cindy's Love Games (1979), Rats: Night of Terror (1984), and The Adventures of Hercules (1985). Additional credits include Absurd, Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals, To Be Twenty, and The Lonely Lady. Beyond film work, she also worked on stage as a performer with singer Lara Saint Paul in Lara's Saffo Show. Throughout her career, Leadbetter appeared mostly in secondary roles, contributing to the landscape of 1980s European genre cinema, particularly within the science fiction and horror film movements that characterized Italian cinema of that era.
