    • William Leslie was born on March 27, 1925 in Seagraves, Texas, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for The Night the World Exploded (1957), The Horse Soldiers (1959) and Damon Runyon Theater (1955). He was married to Marjorie Wilson. He died on December 19, 2005 in Apple Valley, California, USA.

  • Was in the Navy and played football and track at the University of Colorado.
  • Played Malcolm in Macbeth at the Pasadena Playhouse in 1952.
  • At Stage, Inc. he was featured in their 1947 production of Charley's Aunt which co-starred Helene Heigh, James R. Scott, James Griffith, Robert Neff, and Penelope Grey.
  • Starred in Pasadena Playhouse's The Gang's All Here, along with Berry Kroeger, Jean Wood, and Tol Avery. It was presented by the Pasadena Playhouse Alumni and Associates. The proceeds were used for scholarship grants to deserving students at The Pasadena Playhouse.
  • Appeared in several productions at the Pasadena Playhouse, including:

    The Cricket and the Hearth in 1949, which also featured Carolyn Jones.

    Kitty Doone (1950) in which he co-starred with King Donovan, Ed Kemmer, and Lois Moran.

    Also in 1950 he appeared in their production of Born Yesterday,

    In 1951 he played he lead in David Copperfield and co-starred in Much Ado About Nothing.
