Barry W. Levy is an award-winning filmmaker, actor, screenwriter, and novelist with nearly forty years of experience in the film and television industry.
A dual US/Canadian citizen, he's appeared as an actor in hundreds of high-profile productions including The X-Files, Mad Men, Scandal, Supernatural, Arrow, and Fire Country, and can also be seen in a wide variety of Hallmark movies. Levy is an accomplished director and screenwriter with 2 award-winning feature films and numerous shorts produced by his company Mighty Pharaoh Films.
His debut novel The War Machine, a spy thriller about a Canadian-born US-trained Vietnam sniper, won the Storytrade Award for Best Military Fiction and he was a finalist in the Prodigy Awards.
Levy holds a BFA degree from The Department of Theatre, Film and Creative Writing at The University of British Columbia, has worked as a radio broadcaster in Montreal during the 80s when vinyl ruled the world and when he's not writing enjoys hobby tree-farming on his property in British Columbia, Canada.
