Get ready for more horror survival gaming with PQube and developer Electric Monkeys’ When The Light Dies, a gothic survival game with roguelite elements that’s set in a desolate, frozen wilderness. Taking a bit of inspiration from Poncle’s Vampire Survivors, according to PQube’ Harrison Lewis, the team drew heavily upon Dan Simmons‘ novel “The Terror”, a fictionalized account of the 1840s expedition to the Northway Passage.

When The Light Dies sees players step into a murky world of shadow and obscurity as a lone survivor fighting to keep the darkness and the horrors that lurk within at bay.
