Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, the fifth film in the Friday the 13th franchise, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year – and JoBlo’s own Ryan Cultrera was recently able to catch up with Melanie Kinnaman, who played the film’s heroine, at the Ve Neill’s Vampire Weekend convention in California! Ryan talked with Kinnaman about her experience working on the classic slasher, and you can watch the interview in the video embedded above.

It’s Friday the 13th, and we have decided to celebrate by releasing a new episode of the What Happened to This Horror Movie? video series that digs into one of the more divisive entries in the Friday the 13th film franchise: the fifth entry, 1985’s Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (watch it Here), a movie that doesn’t have Jason Voorhees or his mother doing the killing. This time around, the slashing was done by a copycat – and you can hear all about it in the video embedded above.

Oliver Stone speaks on Robert Downey Jr.'s acting choices on the set of Natural Born Killers. Natural Born Killers is a 1994 film about two people who become serial killers after having had traumatic childhoods. The film is directed by Stone and features a leading cast including Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson, Juliette Lewis, O-Lan Jones, Ed White, Richard Lineback, Lanny Flaherty, and Rodney Dangerfield.
Speaking with Esquire, Stone recalls getting frustrated with Downey Jr. on the set of Natural Born Killers. According to the director, they were on the final day of filming in 1993. After spending a lot of days on set high or drunk, Downey Jr. decided to dip the end section of his shirt into fake blood and pull it through the unzipped area of his pants to resemble a blood-soaked penis. Stone was not a fan of the actor's vision here, saying he was "going too far" and reminded Downey Jr.

Competing with last year's magnificent second season - which I named the best show of 2011 - isn't going to be an easy task, but "The Gunfighter" gave Justified a great start to season three, delivering an abundance of potential for interesting stories down the road.
As great as Margo Martindale was as Mags Bennett last year, and as fun as Walton Goggins is to watch as the sometimes-a-friend/sometimes-a-foe Boyd Crowder, Timothy Olyphant is the glue that holds this cowboy masterpiece together.
Although the season premiere essentially picked up three weeks after the traumatic events of "Bloody Harlan," Raylan had yet to recover from his gunshot wound, which created a couple of new situations for the U.S. Marshal.
Sure, he was still as sarcastically charming as ever in comparing Winona decorating his place to putting lipstick on a platypus, or contemplating the idea of naming his future child Jiffy Pop or Palmolive,...
