Her cinematic debut "This Old Man" was Malcolm-Jamal Warner's directorial debut as well. She later ran into him again on the set of "Listen Up" as well as performing on the LA spoken word circuit.

At Dartmouth, her major is Film and Television studies modified with Art History. She is also South Asian studies minor, with a focus on India.

Studied at Yale, UCLA and UC Berkeley.
