Although the network is starting the year pretty slow by streaming the former CW-aired series, the Hallmarkesque The Spencer Sisters on Hallmark+ in January, and The Jane Mysteries: A Deadly Prescription on Hm, these mystery fans will surely want to know what the future holds.

However, there is more good news, particularly for POstables, as their favorite characters are coming back to the screen in not one, but two new movies. Read on to find out what we know so far.

Hallmark Mystery to launch two new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies

It’s been two and a half years since fans last watched a new Signed, Sealed Delivered movie. It might even seem longer than that for POstables.

However, there is good news afoot as Hallmark Mystery has announced two new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies! You hear that right – not just one movie with your favorite characters but two.

Hallmark has ordered two more Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies for 2024 and 2025. The movies are inspired by Martha Williamson's television series of the same name. After one season aired in 2014, the network decided to continue the stories as a series of movies that have been airing on the recently rebranded Hallmark Mystery channel.

Hallmark is reviving an iconic franchise with a two-picture deal.

TVLine reports that Signed, Sealed, Delivered is making a surprising comeback to the company almost three years after it last aired.

Eric Mabius (Oliver), Kristin Booth (Shane), Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe (Rita), and Geoff Gustafson (Norman) are all returning for the new movies that will air on Hallmark Mystery.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered initially aired as a TV movie in October 2013 before returning the following year as a weekly TV series.

After one season, the series reverted to movies, which aired sporadically on the cabler.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters is on track for a late 2024 premiere and focuses on the team finding the intended recipients of three dead letters.

Firstly, POstables need to know that Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson are all in Vancouver. They are reprising their roles as Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman. Moreover, according to TV Line, they are backing back-to-back Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies.

TVLine has learned that production is now underway on not one but two new installments of the Hallmark Mystery (fka Hallmark Movies & Mysteries) film franchise, to again star Eric Mabius as Oliver, Kristin Booth as Shane, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe as Rita and Geoff Gustafson as Norman.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries recently rebranded as Hallmark Mystery and the network knows how much fans enjoy its content. Sleuthers will recall that real-life husband and wife, Alexa and Carlos PenaVega starred in the Picture Perfect Mysteries movies. Meanwhile, the last we saw of the franchise was in 2020 and Alexa confirmed on Instagram that this franchise was over.

Late on Tuesday, the Hallmark Mystery social media channels lit up with some fantastic news. According to their Twitter site, they shared “#POstables, we’re back with an all new mystery that you won’t want to miss! #SignedSealedDelivered #2024” In addition, they asked POstables to share their reactions to the four main stars of the series, Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson.

Shifting Gears is revving up to premiere this weekend!

The 2-hour Hallmark Channel original movie premieres on March 23 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt, as part of the “Spring Into Love” programming event.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered‘s Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe is making her directorial debut as well, as part of the Hallmark’s Make Her Mark Women’s Directing Program!

Here’s the full plot summary: “Motor City mechanic Jess Barro and her father Ray run their family-owned automotive garage but money’s getting tight thanks to competition from a big auto repair shop chain in town. Her passion is auto restoration and when Jess gets the chance to compete on an auto restoration show, she reluctantly agrees as the prize money would go a long way toward keeping their shop afloat. Signed, Sealed, Delivered is arguably one of Hallmark Channel’s best franchises.

The long-running signature franchise centered on the Dead Letter Office, a division of the Post Office, and the four postal workers who doubled as detectives to track down the people who never got letters and packages that were sent to them.

Eric Mabius starred as postal detective Oliver O’Toole, with Kristin Booth as technophile Shane McInerney, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe as free-spirited Rita Haywith, and Geoff Gustafson as master researcher Norman Dorman.

Good Witch ended its run in July 2021, with a Season 7/series finale in which Cassie (played by Catherine Bell) saved the cousins’ imperiled magic, Stephanie and Adam decide to tie the knot (but Donovan and Abigail broke up) and Cassie’s brother Vincent returned to Middleton.

It seems that we haven't seen the last of the POstables. Hallmark Channel has announced that the cable channel is developing a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie. A timetable for the new project has not been released.

As Signed, Sealed, Delivered fans know, the franchise began as a two-hour movie in 2013. It did well enough for Hallmark to order a 10 episode TV series which aired in 2014. Rather than continue as a weekly show, Hallmark opted to go back to the movie format and, to date, has aired 11 two-hour films.
