‘House Of Villains’ Moves From E! To Peacock With Season 3 Renewal As Comcast’s Versant Launch Comes Into Focus
Image
House of Villains has a new home. The reality show is to become a Peacock original after it was renewed for a third season for the streamer, moving away from its original home at E! after it was spun off by its parent company.

Comcast recently spun off its cable networks, including E!, USA Network and Syfy, launching Versant.

House of Villains becomes the first original series changing hands as a result of the corporate move.

The series, which is hosted by Joel McHale, brings together 11 reality all-stars who must scheme, strategize and shade each other in different challenges for a chance to win $200,000 and the title of “America’s Ultimate Supervillain.” It will launch its third season on Peacock in early 2026.

House of Villains comes from Irwin Entertainment, and the 10-part series is exec produced by McHale, John Irwin, Dave Kuba, Justin Rae Barnes, David Mills and Jessica O’Byrne.

Peacock doesn’t have Olympics this summer, but it will have plenty of programming.

The NBCUniversal streaming service has greenlit five new unscripted series and is bringing another one over from E!. New shows include a pair of true crime docuseries, reality shows featuring Tiffany Haddish and Nelly and Ashanti, and a docuseries about Universal’s theme parks. In addition, Peacock is pulling House of Villains, hosted by Joel McHale, off of E! and onto streaming for an all-new season coming “early 2026.”

The Haddish docuseries, Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, follows the comedian and three of her closest friends as they embark on a four-week girls’ trip across Africa. That one comes out in the fall. Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together, a June release, charts newlywed life for the hip-hop couple.

A three-part investigation into the alleged Gilgo Beach Killer from 50 Cent’s G-Unit Productions premieres in June, and a dive...

Fox Nation President Jason Klarman said that the docuseries “features a comprehensive look inside the case that many have tried to tackle since the day the difficult story unfolded.” He said that the series also “puts forward several missing elements that have not been brought to light.” Among the elements will be behind-the-scenes footage before and after the trial, home movies and, according to Fox Nation, “prison revelations from Alex himself.” Also featured...
