Playing as part of the 2014 Film4 FrightFest is the upcoming dinosaur flick The Expedition, and right now we can report the flick has undergone a name change. It's now known as Extinction, and you can check out the new poster right here.

Adam Spinks' Extinction stars Ben Loyd-Holmes (Skyfall, "Da Vinci’s Demons," "Torchwood"), Neil Newbon ("Holby City," "Hollyoaks"), Sarah MacDonnell ("Secret Diary of a Call Girl," Montana), Ernesto Cantu (World War Z), and Daniel Caren (The Girl Is Mime, The Hike) as well as Simon Burbage (Pulp: The Movie) and Dolores Reynals.

Synopsis

A research team led by a renowned and respected professor embark on an expedition deep within the Amazon to study vulnerable and endangered species. However, after a series of strange events, the superstitious guides abandon the team, who, faced with a tough decision, decide to remain deep in the jungle in an attempt to complete their study.

The line-up for this year's Film4 FrightFest in London has just been announced – and boy, is it a doozy! Sporting a record-breaking 38 UK/European premieres and 11 world premieres, this August is going to be an exciting time in the genre calendar.

This year Film4 FrightFest will be moving from its previous home at Leicester Square's Empire Cinema to the nearby Vue Cinema (also on Leicester Square), prompting an ingenious reshuffle of the screening arrangements.

All main screen films will be presented at different times across three different screens, with two extra screens reserved for single-slot screenings of the various films hitting this year's Discovery Screens.
