Google’s Year in Search was posted on Wednesday, and the data-rich lists prove that food was definitely on the mind in 2017.

Coming to America 2 is currently in the works, with Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall ready to reprise their iconic comedic roles from the hit 80s comedy. If you follow the account of McDonald’s official global corporate headquarters—also known as @McDonaldsCorp—on Twitter, you’re probably used to seeing retweets from the fast food company’s international branches, praise heaped onto customers (“Well, aren’t you just the sweetest!”), even the occasional invite to grab a McMuffin together. Engaging with customers is normal behavior, but tweeting at the President of the United States? That’s a little more unorthodox. That’s why plenty of folks were understandably surprised by McDonald’s swift change in tone this morning, when around 9:15 a.

McDonald’s claims its Twitter account was compromised after a Trump-bashing tweet sent by @McDonaldsCorp, calling the president “a disgusting excuse of a President,” went viral. Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this. — McDonald's (@McDonaldsCorp) March 16, 2017 On Thursday, a pinned tweet showed up on McDonald’s Corporation’s Twitter account — a tweet which has since been deleted. People were quick to notice, some praising the home of the Big Mac for their comment. Others became concerned about the tone set by the company’s social media manager.

McDonald’s is adding a snow crab sandwich to its menu. The fast food giant developed the new sandwich with former Top Chef contestant Ryan Scott. It consists of snow crab meat mixed with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and is served between a sourdough bun.

The catch: McDonald’s is only testing the sandwich in four locations in San Jose, Calif. However, if the new creation is received well, McDonald’s will expand the sandwich to as many as 250 restaurants in the area.

After Monday, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer may want to think twice before mentioning President Donald Trump’s bathrobe (or lack thereof) again.
