Manuel Mack

Born 1971 in Hamburg / Germany. Mother is the paintress Katrin Mack, father the photo-reporter and photographer Ulrich Mack. Growing up with photography and art background, first contact with film in 1990. Since then several studies: camera rental house, film laboratory, electrician. Assistant camera for D.o.P like: Fred Schuler (ASC), Xaver Schwarzenberger. Worked and learned for many years in the camera department of the D.o.P. Benedict Neuenfels (BVK). Studied at film university HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg, faculty: camera - diploma in 2001. Wins his first Cinematography Award in 1997 at the Camerimage/Poland. Works internationally as cinematographer since 1995 for feature films, music videos and commercials.
