Jeremy Saville is Loqueesha in Official Trailer for Comedy 'Loqueesha'
"It's not a crime... It's theater!" An official trailer has debuted for a wacky comedy titled Loqueesha, a new film made by comedian Jeremy Saville, who directs and also stars in it, and wrote the screenplay. Get ready for this. "With a diverse cast of breakthrough actors, Loqueesha takes viewers on an unexpected and thought-provoking journey that challenges society’s—and our own—conventional beliefs about identity and perception." Saville stars as Joe, a white guy who pretends to be a black female talk radio host and becomes a huge hit. The full cast includes Mara Hall, Dwayne Perkins, Susan Diol, Michael Madison, Tiara Parker, and Michael Matts. This is um, a pretty bold concept for these times for a film, but it might just work? Cannes: MTonomy Offers Sales Agents Blockchain-Based Rights Management System
Jack Dorsey
Blockchain will make a Cannes comeback this year with Jack Dorsey-backed MTonomy pitching an “operating system for the world of film and TV rights.”

At the Cannes Film Festival, the company will be providing the technological backbone for the film sales operations of Los Angeles-based sales agent Indie Rights. It will also hold presentations of its rights management system. The software is currently available on an invitation-only basis.

The MTonomy system enables easy deal tracking, intuitive search for available rights, and secure hosting of feature films, series, and other content, to enable rapid delivery and simple management of assets. It is built on the Ethereum, platform one of the most widespread public blockchain platforms.

“By rethinking the infrastructure underlying rights management, MTonomy has permanently lightened the workload for rights holders. We empower studios, distributors, and sales agents to spend more time on what matters most, finding the best opportunities for their rights,...

Afm: VoD Sales Specialist Indie Rights Makes ‘Blood From Stone’ Production Move
Indie Rights, a U.S.-based sales agent specializing in VoD rights, has expanded into production. Its first effort is genre-defying vampire film “Blood From Stone,” written and directed by Geoff Ryan.

The film stars Vanja Kapetanovic, a powerhouse Serbian actor and former Mma fighter, and Hungarian actress and model Gabriella Toth. She stars as a woman trying to escape the vampire’s grip, and struggling to cope with the vampire curse in a society where old ways refuse to die.

Indie Rights’ Linda Nelson and Michael Madison are executive producers. “Blood From Stone” was shot over two months in Nevada and California and wrapped production last month. Indie Rights announced the project at the American Film Market, and plans to debut the completed film at the Cannes Film Market in May next year.

“Geoff (Ryan) proved could deliver the highest quality production value and dramatic flair on a budget...

Foot traffic in the Riviera, Lérins and Palais was notably far slower than usual earlier in the week. It was possible to get bookings at short notice in even the most exclusive restaurants. Many attendees questioned the decision to start the market a day earlier than usual.

Jerome Paillard, executive director of the Marché, explained...
