Riverdale's getting a little more romance in season two!

Et's Leanne Aguilera sat down with the show's cast at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, where they spilled all about Josie's, Kevin's and Cheryl's new romantic interests -- and a couple of love triangles!

Riverdale fans have already met the first new love interest of the season, as Ashleigh Murray revealed that love with Reggie Mantle might be in the cards for her character, Josie.

"She might be getting a little love, and a potential suitor is Reggie Mantle, who is played by our new and lovely Charles Melton. He's phenomenal," she gushed of the new cast member, who will be replacing 13 Reasons Why star Ross Butler in season two.  "He might be able to bat some lashes at me."

Molly Ringwald made her anticipated debut as Archie's mother, Mary, in the tail end of Thursday's episode of Riverdale, and her unexpected arrival is about to complicate matters on the home front for Archie (K.J. Apa) and his father, Fred (Luke Perry).

"I'm scared to death of it, to tell you the truth," Perry said of the introduction of Fred's estranged wife, whom he visited in Chicago in the episode in an attempt to finalize their divorce. "As you can see in the rest of the season, it's just he and I, and we're in that house -- and it's been that way."

Purveyors of Eurotrash should delight in the resuscitation of the obscure 1979 eroto-giallo Play Motel, directed by Mario Gariazzo under the pseudonym Roy Garrett (a director of twenty or so features best remembered for casting into a sea of Friedkin capitalizations with 1974’s The Sexorcist, aka L’Ossessa aka Enter the Devil). By this period, the provocative Italian subgenre was already well into its dog days, with imitators churning out murder mysteries imbibed with a healthy dose of pornographic soft-core elements. It would be unfair to rightly classify Gariazzo’s film as classic giallo, a muddled narrative cramped significantly by enough naked women to rival Jesus Franco.

The 87th Academy Award nominations for 2015 were recently released on January 15, 2015 representing the excellence in film for the previous year. Naturally there was the standard controversy regarding those films and performances that got unfairly overlooked. Unfortunately, the perceived snubs do happen from year to year so this goes along with the territory. Nevertheless, the lucky selections that do manage to grab Oscar’s attention are understandably grateful and psyched to see if the golden statuette will in fact go home with them on the film industry’s biggest and most elegant evening.

According to French outlet The Local, the internationally publicized allegation of sexual assault against former Imf chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn by a hotel maid in New York City in May is being parodied in an upcoming adult film. Being produced by My Porn Company, the film will be titled "Dxk" and star Roberto Malone as a character named Dominique Sex King.

Strauss-Kahn was considered the leading contender to carry the Socialist Party banner against French President Nicolas Sarkozy until the accusation was made. Charges based on allegations made by the maid in late May were dropped by a judge in August after prosecutors said Nafissatou Diallo could not be trusted to tell the truth. French writer Tristane Banon also accused Strauss-Kahn of sexually assaulting her, saying it took place during an interview in 2003. Prosecutors later dropped those charges because they happened too long ago. Banon decided not to file suit, either.

Chicago – The second week of The 45th Chicago Film Festival kicks off tonight (or tomorrow depending on how you look at the fest that runs from the 8th to the 22nd) and the upcoming weekend features just as much and arguably more interesting films unspooling at the AMC River East than the first. Highlights include one of the best animated films of the year, a bittersweet romance starring two living legends, a remastered classic, and works from a few of the best voices in international cinema today.

We’ve worked our way through dozens of films this year, but even we couldn’t get to all of them and a few weren’t even shown in the screening room in time for our deadline. So this week’s Ciff preview works a little differently. The first page features the best of what we’ve seen. Take our word. These are worth your time.

I can't imagine a more apt title for Lovely, Still than the one it has. This sweet, surprising story about romance between senior citizens is uncommonly lovely, and a serene stillness rests over most of it. Of course, the title works the other way, too: The process of falling in love is lovely, still, even after all these years.

It is Christmastime in an unnamed snowy town, and Robert Malone (Martin Landau) is a lonely old man. He lives by himself in a house that he has occupied for 48 years, a house with minimal furniture and no pictures on the walls. The only gift under his Christmas tree is one he wrapped himself, addressed to himself. He works part-time as a bagger at a grocery store, where the doofy, over-eager manager, Mike (Adam Scott), wants him to invest in the publication of a homemade book of Christmas recipes.

Like peanut butter and jam, Christmas and movies seem to go hand in hand, the magic of the holiday season complimented by the magic of film. Lovely Still embraces the magic of both mediums right from its 3 minute long opening scene, and I was flooded with all the warmth and love of gooey Christmas memories past. Robert Malone (Martin Landau) is an elderly bachelor who has admittedly, spent too many Christmas.s alone. This Christmas, he wants nothing more than a family to spend the holiday with. One night, like a Christmas present sent from Heaven, Robert arrives home to find a beautiful woman named Mary (Ellen Burstyn) in his kitchen. Alone one moment and completely in love the next, Robert is swept off his feet by Mary, the two become inseparable almost immediately. Robert goes through all of the angst and emotion of a teen deciding where to take...

The Toronto International Film Festival has announced a whole load of films, including many world premiers, to be added as part of their lineups. Some of the more interesting looking ones are Lance Daly's Kisses about two Irish kids who run away from home and deal with the dark underside of Dublin. Another film I'm definitely interested in is Scott McGehee and David Siegel's Uncertainty which stars one of my personal favorites, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It's about a couple in love who find out she's pregnant and they flip a coin from where it apparently follows both possible storylines, but with the same disastrous consequences. Also screening will be Fabrice du Welz's Vinyan (trailer here) which is about a couple who lost their son in a Tsunami and won't give up looking for him. In the Discovery program, the stop-motion animation $9.99 which is about a man seeking the meaning to life.
