Ethnic character who played minor Greek, Indian, Hispanic, French, Italian and Middle Eastern villains on film and TV, complete with bushy mustache, for over four decades.
Began on the stage in 1939 and moved into film and TV in the late '40s.
Unlike many of his fellow cast and crew members in The Conqueror (1956) who contracted cancer and later died of it, he did not and lived to the ripe old age of 89.
