Freevee announced today that Bosch: Legacy Season 2 will premiere Friday, October 20, 2023.

Four new episodes will be available on the release date, followed by two each week through November 10.

Harry Bosch is returning to Amazon Freevee on Oct. 20 – and he’s taking matters into his own hands to save his daughter in a new teaser for “Bosch: Legacy” Season 2.

The drama series’ second season finds Bosch (Titus Welliver) working alongside Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) to track down a masked assailant who kidnapped his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz) before time runs out. But as the FBI scrutinizes Carl Rogers’ murder, Bosch and Chandler are placed under suspicion.

In the clip, Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) tells Bosch that he needs to let authorities do their job to find his daughter, to which he replies: “Don’t cut me out!.” He also makes clear that while the FBI has to do things the “right way,” those rules don’t apply to him.

According to Amazon, which announced the pickup as part of its NewFront presentation on Monday, the first season of Bosch: Legacy (which streamed in May 2022) “built on the loyal fan base of the original series and enticed new audiences,” delivering a “higher number of viewers than any previous season of Bosch” (which of course streamed on Prime Video proper).

The announcement was made ahead of Amazon’s NewFront presentation in New York on May 1. The first season of “Bosch: Legacy” debuted on Freevee in May 2022, with Season 2 set to air this fall. Like its predecessor, the Prime Video series “Bosch,” the Freevee series is based on the Bosch novels written by Michael Connelly.

Set to debut in its entirety on March 4, The Boys Presents: Diabolical features eight 12- to 14-minute episodes that each boast their own animation style. David Marciano ("Homeland") and David Dastmalchian ("Ant-Man") have scored guest roles on the upcoming second season of Syfy's "12 Monkeys". Both will debut in episode six of the sci-fi thriller’s second season in scenes set in 1975.

Marciano will play a NYPD detective who is following a serial killer who has a dangerous affiliation with the Army of the 12 Monkeys. Dastmalchian plays a Vietnam vet whose mind is connected to time in a unique way. [Source: Variety]

"Wicked Tuna" star David Marciano does Not have a way with women -- he was arrested for allegedly grabbing a hotel employee by her hair ..in a flirting move gone awry.  According to cops in Morehead City, North Carolina -- the town where "Wicked Tuna" is filming -- Marciano was busted for assault around 1:10 Am Monday. Police say Marciano grabbed the woman's ponytail in a lame attempt to get frisky ... but it wasn't well received.

Showtime has released a new batch of "Homeland" Season 3 photos, and these images from episode 3 ("Tower of David") through episode 5 ("The Yoga Play") reveal some pretty big spoilers from the upcoming three episodes. If you want to remain spoiler-free, don't read ahead.

When "Uh ... Oh ... Ah ..." ended, Carrie was left drugged up in a mental institution, Saul was on the outs with Senator Lockwood and Brody has been nowhere to be found. It's already been revealed that Brody returns in "Tower of David," but beyond that it looks like "Homeland" is due for some shakeups.

Virgil is back. A photo from episode 4, "Game On," shows that David Marciano's character Virgil makes a reappearance. He's been absent thus far in Season 3, but it looks like he's due for a comeback. Usually Virgil's appearances involve Carrie doing some off-the-radar snooping, so it could be that she's going off the books again.

It is a mantra repeated by many that several of America’s finest series’ have overdone it. Now this has reached a-whole-nother level insofar as a third series of a show is seen as simply establishing the characters with many more expected to come. Some TV shows, such as the once great family comedy The Simpsons – currently on its 24th season – don’t seem to grasp the concept that you can indeed have too much of a good thing.

The first series of Homeland saw a multitude of twists and turns, with each episode as good as the previous edition. The clearly intertwined mixture of narrative strands was well-worked to say the least; the love affair of Brody and Carrie, the tension between David and Saul and the search for Abu Nazir – all were equally as captivating as each other. Aww! Say it ain’t so! Actor David Marciano will no longer be a series regular when Homeland‘s Season 3 returns to Showtime.

Marciano has been playing Virgil, Carrie’s “go to” surveillance guy, since the show’s pilot premiered. The former CIA employee went freelance and aside from being able to do work Carrie doesn’t necessarily want to Agency to know about, Virgil is also someone Carrie knows she can trust. Let me tell you, when it comes to National Security, those true blue folks get to be very few, and with Carrie’s mental health being a question, the list shrinks even more.

The character of Virgil was a recurring one during season 1, but was bumped up to a series regular for the last season, which was season 2. I like Virgil. He’s brutally honest when Carrie needs it and he really knows what he’s doing.

Season 6 of "Sons of Anarchy" will feature more of Jax's ex-wife, Wendy, whether Jax likes it or not.

Drea de Matteo will reprise her role as Wendy -- whom Jax (Charlie Hunnam) injected heroin into late last year after she threatened his family -- in the coming season, TVLine reports. She's set to appear in several episodes.

Season 5 left off with Tara (Maggie Siff) being arrested as an accessory to murder in Otto's (creator Kurt Sutter) killing of a prison nurse. Perhaps Wendy can lend a hand with the kids?

Ripped from headlines has always been a staple of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," but the latest headline ripped was one of its biggest yet. Senatorial candidate Todd Akin used the phrase "legitimate rape" -- saying that victims of that have ways of biologically shutting down their ability to get pregnant -- during his political campaign. In the episode, a congressman was brought in to use that defense in a rape case.

Lauren Cohan ("The Walking Dead") portrayed Avery Jordan, a sports reporter who was raped by her cameraman, played by David Marciano ("Homeland"). Only, one juror bought the "legitimate rape" argument, and he was able to get off on those charges. Then, he sued her for custody of the child, ultimately winning limited visitation. It was too much for the new mother to take, who fled with the child.

There’s been a lot of doom and gloom in the Geek Girl columns of late. I blame some of that on winter TV. Networks seem to run shows that are darker and more depressing during the winter. This isn’t to say that I couldn’t find some happier fare if I just set my mind to looking for it, but so much of it seems so inane that I end up losing interest pretty easily.

One of the things that I do seem to end up watching frequently are cop shows and procedural dramas. That’s no surprise, given the columns about “Castle” and “Elementary” earlier. It’s not a preference that I trouble myself over too much. I’ve also established that I am a fan of the genre blender. Mash-ups, especially those that seem unlikely but still manage to work have a way of drawing me in like nothing else.

It's a week of changes as "Revolution" returns and "Happy Endings" moves to Fridays. Plus, "Law & Order: Svu" tackles "Legitimate Rape" and more picks to watch this week.

"Revolution" has been off the air since November, but the quest to restore power resumes on Monday March 25 after the premiere of "The Voice." Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) tries to redeem herself and romance ignites between Miles (Billy Burke) and Nora (Daniella Alonso).

On Wednesday, March 27, "Law & Order: Svu" airs its "Legitimate Rape" episode with "The Walking Dead" actress Lauren Cohan and "Homeland's" David Marciano guest starring.

"Happy Endings" returns to ABC, but moves to Fridays. The network created a promo asking fans to save the ratings-challenged comedy on its new night, inciting some backlash.

Actress Hope Davis may be headed to an interesting guest spot over at NBC’s Law & Order: Svu, but the gig also constitutes somewhat of an In Treatment reunion.

The HBO drama, In Treatment, which stars Gabriel Byrne, was written by Warren Leight, who is the current showrunner of Svu. Hope Davis played Mia for several episodes of season 2.

THR has learned that Davis will pop up on Svu as Viola Mesner, the mother of a very trouble boy named Henry. Ethan Cutkosky of Shameless will portray her son.

“Julie Martin and I co-wrote this one; it’s a tough episode about a mother who confronts the possibility that her 10-year-old son is just … wired wrong,” Leight told THR. “We sent it out to Hope and I crossed my fingers because I really couldn’t think of anyone else who could play it. It will still be a long while before Homeland returns to Showtime, which means we won’t be seeing David Marciano’s Virgil anytime soon, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t be seeing the actor. After all, he’s perfectly capable of branching out and taking small guest roles on other TV shows. In this case, that is exactly what Marciano is doing; he’ll be guest starring in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: Svu, which will tackle a topic made controversial last year during election time. It should make for an interesting case of the week and I’m very curious how the show will choose to handle it.

"Law & Order: Svu" is tackling the "legitimate rape" controversy with the help of "The Walking Dead" and "Homeland" actors.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Walking Dead" actress Lauren Cohan will play Avery Jordan, a sports reporter who accuses her cameraman of raping her. The character learns she is pregnant and decides to keep the baby. "Homeland" actor David Marciano will play the accused rapist cameraman, THR reports.

The episode is set to air in late March and tackle the "legitimate rape" firestorm ignited by Todd Akin during the 2012 election.

Online ,served up some new spoiler scoopage on the upcoming season 3 of Showtime's hit show "Homeland," and it sounds like we're going to see Brody totally be a fugitive and hunted down like a dog by the CIA. Then more backstory for Peter Quinn will be revealed. In their spoilery statement,they had this to say: "Brody is a fugitive and I'm sure the CIA will send someone after him at some point. Marciano also said, we'll be getting more backstory on the mystery that is Peter Quinn in season three," which was a quote from Virgil actor David Marciano.
