Venice Award Winner ‘Full Time,’ Starring ‘Call My Agent’s’ Laure Calamy, Sells to Multiple Territories (Exclusive)

Race-against-time social drama “Full Time” (À plein temps), which won the best actress prize for “Call My Agent” star Laure Calamy and the best director award for Eric Gravel in the Horizons section of the Venice Film Festival, has scored multiple territory deals for Brussels-based sales company Be For Films.

The territories sold on the French-language film are Benelux (Athena Films), Switzerland (Xenix Filmdistribution), Italy (I Wonder), Spain (Festival Films), Greece (Cinobo), Norway (Arthaus), Canada (Axia Films), Australia/New Zealand (Palace Entertainment), China (Huanxi), Taiwan (Hooray Films), South Korea (Choix Pictures), and Indonesia (Falcon).

Discussions are ongoing with buyers in the U.S., the U.K., Japan, Israel and Poland.

Haut et Court will release the film in France on March 9.

The Brussels Regional Investment Fund benefits from additional funds to support the audiovisual sector. screen.brussels has just announced the results of its 14th session, as well as the attribution of an additional envelope worth €1M to support the Brussels audiovisual sector severely hit by the Covid crisis. Half of this funding will go to about 20 projects supported in 2019 and 2020, and the other half will be dedicated to increasing the number of projects supported at this session. 21 new projects are therefore helped by the fund: 4 fiction features, 5 series, 3 animation projects, 8 documentaries and 1 virtual reality project. A total of €5.7m was awarded in latest funding round.

New projects from Oleg Sentsov, Nuri Bilge Ceylan, and Emily Atef are among 29 films selected to receive Eurimages funding in its latest round of co-production awards.

Eighteen fiction features and 11 documentary projects will receive a total of €5.7m ($6.7m).

Of the projects selected, one third are directed by women; they will receive 35% of the total amount (€2m).
