Lee started his movie career as a Producer/Director for Department of Defense while still in college, making public relations and base-capability films for Congressional Committees and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. After college, he moved to L.A., starting his "Hollywood" professional career as a 2nd AD and then a 1st AD. During this time, he found financing for his first industry short film "Aces & Eights" which he wrote, produced, and directed. He made the lateral move to Special Effects & Stunts after being Taft-Hartleyed into SAG to be thrown out a 3rd story window and hung by his neck on "Halloween 5". He enjoyed the action side of film making and stuck with it, all the while pursuing his next directing job. In 2002, he directed his first feature length film "Python II", a low-budget action film shot in Sophia, Bulgaria over twelve days. Most recently, he wrote, produced, and directed the 2012 Virginia Military Institute public relations and recruitment film "No Ordinary Life" which, to date, has been directly responsible for over 2 Million dollars in alumni donations. Lee continues to work steadily as a Special Effects Pyrotechnic Supervisor &/or Foreman. As a Producer/Director, he endeavors to develop projects that combine action with quality stories. He is tenacious in his efforts to continue working as a director and to find film projects that can be produced in his new home state of Virginia.
