Martha Jean Claude was born on 21 March 1919 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was an actress and composer, known for Cry of the Bewitched (1957), La tierra y el cielo (1977) and Tesoro (1987). She was married to Victor Mirabal. She died on 14 November 2001 in Havana, Cuba.
