"Bangerz," her fourth studio album, notably re-established Cyrus's musical career following her departure from Disney Channel. A mix of hip-hop, pop, and R&b, the album turned the public's vision of Cyrus as an artist on its head. The accompanying tour further solidified her artistic transformation.

Between wiggling her tongue in front of thousands and belting out bawdy lyrics coupled with highly suggestive dance moves, Cyrus reinvented herself. In a Sept. 3 TikTok video promoting her emotional new single, "Used to Be Young," Cyrus reflected on her "Bangerz" era and said that she paid for a majority of the tour's over-the-top props with her own money. On Monday, the streamer released the official music video for a classical rendition of Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You,” which was featured in the Bridgerton spinoff’s third episode. Robin Thicke shows no signs of stopping. The 36-year-old singer released his hit single "Blurred Lines" this spring, and the Pharrell-produced track just set a record for the year.

By topping the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart this week, "Blurred Lines" now holds the title of the single with the most weeks spent at the No. 1 spot on the chart for 2013, according to Billboard. With seven weeks at No 1., "Blurred Lines" beats out Macklemore's "Thrift Shop," which dominated for six weeks beginning in February.

Thicke is up against overall record-holders Maroon 5 whose "One More Night" led the Hot 100 for nine weeks in 2012. Other contenders include Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" which held for eight weeks last year.

The lead single off of Thicke's upcoming album, "Blurred Lines" has already been certified multi-platinum. The track has also been a controversial one, prompting criticism from some who felt the lyrics were questionable and misogynistic.

Given the massive controversy -- not to mention runaway success -- of Robin Thicke's summer hit "Blurred Lines," it's not surprising that someone eventually decided to create a gender-reversed version of the video. Luckily for us, the newest parody, created by Mod Carousel, is clever, thought-provoking and very sexy.

Mod Carousel, a Seattle-based boylesque troupe, recreated the video with Caela Bailey, Sydni Devereux and Dalisha Phillips on vocals, standing in for the original video's Thicke, Pharrell and T.I., respectively. Carousel's own Trojan Original, Paris Original and the Luminous Pariah play the roles of the half-clothed (or mostly naked, depending on the version) models present in the Thicke video.

The lyrics are tweaked a bit, too. "I'm going to take a good boy," Bailey sings, continuing, "You're just so manly. ... You're the hottest d**k in this place." Later, the balloons that Thicke's original video used to spell out...

Adam Lambert dropped his new video for his first Trespassing single, "Better Than I Know Myself," on Friday (February 3).

The video takes a look at the two sides of Lambert: a leather-wearing, liquor-swilling bad boy and a sweater-donning, tea-drinking homebody.

During the video, the two personas seem to battle it out in different apartments connected by a clear wall and one oxygen supply.

In the end, as the bad Lambert sets his apartment on fire, killing good-guy Lambert's air supply, the wall breaks down. The good seems to seep into his apartment as he rescues his better half. The video ends with one Lambert, walking down a sun-drenched street, seeming to be at peace with himself.

Beside focusing on the love story, the clip also features J-Hud strutting her stuff in a chair-dance sequence. "This is the first time that I've had the chance to dance," she said. "But it was probably the part I anticipated the most and I actually had a lot of fun. I thought I accomplished it. You be the judge."

Jennifer Hudson has a new music video coming out soon. The former contestant of "American Idol" has filmed the clip in New York City on June 1, a week before she was rushed to hospital for severe abdominal pains due to a so-called food poisoning.

"This is the first time that I've had the chance to dance," J-Hud said in a behind-the-scene video. "But it was probably the part I anticipated the most and I actually had a lot of fun. I thought I accomplished it. You be the judge." She is going to play opposite Hassan Johnson who is her ex who tries to win her back.

The music video is directed by Diane Martel and is going to make its way out this coming Friday, June 24 on Vevo. The song, meanwhile, is lifted from Jennifer's latest studio installment "I Remember Me" which has been in stores since earlier this year.

Nicki Minaj is fighting with her man in a music video for her new single "Right Thru Me". The female rapper explodes with rage when he accuses her of making big drama. As everything gets tense, he threatens to leave but Minaj begs him to stay. From lashing one another with harsh words, now they make it up by touching each other sensually.

The music video is directed by Diane Martel and features model Willy Monfret playing Minaj's love interest. "The concept of the video is boy-and-girl relationship drama, you know, all of the intimate stuff as well as the fighting as well as the self-reflecting type stuff," she told Entertainment Tonight. "It's basically just a love story told from the perspective of a very hard girl who doesn't want to give in but she has to."

You can take the girl out of Queens, but you can't take the Queens out of the girl. Nicki Minaj premiered her stripped-down video for "Right Thru Me" on MTV Wednesday (October 27), and it is quite a departure from her boisterous "Check It Out" video that debuted Tuesday. Instead of blond hair and futuristic outfits, Nicki looks like she's about to walk down Jamaica Avenue in 50 Cent's hometown.

The opening frame of "Right Thru Me" shows Nicki arguing in a kitchen with a man that seems to be her boyfriend. The two argue about whether he's "disrespecting her" by talking behind her back, and he threatens to leave after the Mc breaks a glass in frustration. Then Nicki, sporting black wavy hair and pink fingernails, cuddles her gent, apologizes for overreacting and asks him to stay.

Nicki Minaj will show her sensitive side to her fans in a music video of new single "Right Thru Me". The Young Money raptress has talked about the concept of the upcoming clip for the song, which she describes as one of her most personal ones to date, when speaking to Entertainment Tonight from the Los Angeles set.

If there's one word that's not used all that often to describe anything Nicki Minaj does, it's "understated."

Yes, from her vast collection of neon wigs to her closet full of skintight outfits, Nicki is rarely, if ever, subtle. But in her upcoming video for "Right Thru Me," all of that has changed. Gone are the Kool-Aid accoutrements and Harajuku Barbie getups, replaced instead with a side of the rapper most of her fans have never seen before: a sensitive, softer one.

And that was very much the plan, as Minaj told MTV News when we visited the set of "Right Thru Me" last month in Los Angeles. Because unlike her previous singles, this one gets downright personal.

Jason Derülo turns up the heat in his steamy video for "In My Head," but the mercury was plummeting when production on the upstart singer's visual was slated to begin. With temperatures on the East Coast falling, L.A.-bound director Kai Crawford nearly had to oversee the clip via satellite as snow blanketed New York City.
