"Killers of the Flower Moon" may have ended with a bittersweet final coda from Martin Scorsese, but the acclaimed octogenarian director clearly still has plenty of future projects on his plate. Variety just broke the news that Scorsese apparently has a Frank Sinatra biopic in the works, and while the filmmaker's reps declined to comment, the outlet claims he has none other than frequent leading man Leonardo DiCaprio in mind to play the lead. The filmmaker's take on the famous crooner's life also reportedly will include a major part for Jennifer Lawrence, who sources say will play Sinatra's second wife, Ava Gardner.
According to the trade outlet, the Sinatra picture isn't exactly a done deal: Variety notes that Sinatra's daughter Tina, who controls the late singer's estate, hasn't given her blessing for the movie yet. Still, studios including Sony and Apple are reportedly interested in the as-yet-untitled film, which...

Palm Springs is where one goes to be seen; neighboring Rancho Mirage, well, not so much. That’s why many A-List Hollywood stars pulled up sticks in the mid-20th century, moving from Palm Springs — and L.A. — to the more discreet Rancho Mirage, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a city this year.

Nancy Sinatra Sr., the first of Frank Sinatra’s four wives and mother of his three children, has died. She was 101 and passed peacefully, according to her daughter, Nancy Sinatra Jr., via Twitter. No cause of death was given.
Frank and the former Nancy Barbato were New Jersey natives and married from 1939-1951. “My mother passed away peacefully tonight at the age of 101. She was a blessing and the light of my life. Godspeed, Momma. Thank you for everything,” Nancy Jr. tweeted.
After their 1939 marriage, Frank and Nancy lived in an apartment in Jersey City, N.J., her hometown. It was there that Nancy and Frank Jr. were born.
In 1944, the family moved to Toluca Lake, Calif., where daughter Tina was born. But the Sinatras separated in September 1950. Ten days after their divorce was finalized in 1951, Frank Sinatra married Hollywood actress Ava Gardner.

Barbara Sinatra, the singer's fourth wife, describes Mia Farrow's claims over her son Ronan as 'phoney'
• Mia Farrow: Woody Allen's son Ronan may be Frank Sinatra's
Frank Sinatra's widow Barbara has dismissed the suggestion that Mia Farrow's son Ronan could have been fathered by the legendary singer. Now living partly in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, Sinatra told the Desert Sun local newspaper it was "a phoney deal".
The former model married Sinatra in 1976 and they remained together until his death in 1998. Ronan Farrow, who was born in December 1987, was presumably conceived in March of that year. Barbara Sinatra, 85, was apparently unaware of the speculation surrounding her former husband, but told the Desert Sun: "I can't hardly believe that. It's just a bunch of junk. There's always junk written — lies that aren't true."

The 85-year-old widow described the revelation as "a phony deal and called the claim, that the 'My Way' singer was "possibly" the father of Ronan, a "bunch of junk", the Mirror reported.
During a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the 68-year old actress made the claim adding that Sinatra was her life's great love, and they never really split up.

Remember when Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child with the maid surfaced? The kid was the spitting image of the Terminator with darker coloring. Now Ronan Farrow's uncanny resemblance to possible dad Frank Sinatra is drawing the ire of Ol' Blue Eye''s widow who slams Mia Farrow's paternity hints about son Ronan. 'It's just a bunch of junk' Barbara Sinatra sneered at Farrow's recent revelation that Sinatra may have fathered her son Ronan. Barbara Sinatra doesn't believe Mia Farrow's cryptic allegations, when she told Vanity Fair's November issue that her 25-year-old son, Ronan Farrow, was "possibly" fathered by Frank Sinatra. Farrow had an acrimonious split with director Woody Allen back in 1992 . Mia was married to Sinatra for 18 months,...

It’s no secret that Frank Sinatra had many lovers over the years, but his widow Barbara Sinatra is furious that Mia Farrow claimed Ol’ Blue Eyes may have sired her son Ronan Farrow in her Vanity Fair interview.
Given the fact that Frank was married to Barbara at the time of Ronan’s conception in 1987, Ms. Farrow’s allegation means that Sinatra (who was actually married to Farrow from 1966-68) would have cheated on her.
Barbara told press, "I can't hardly believe that. It's just a bunch of junk. There's always junk written — lies that aren't true."

If there's one person who's not buying into Mia Farrow's claim that Frank Sinatra, and not Woody Allen, could "possibly" be the biological father of her 25-year-old son, Ronan, it's the widow of Ol' Blue Eyes himself. Barbara Sinatra, who was married to the legendary crooner for 22 years until his death in 1998, called such speculation "a phony deal" when contacted by The Desert Sun on Wednesday. "I can't hardly believe that. It's just a bunch of junk. Mia Farrow raised millions of eyebrows this week when she admitted to Vanity Fair that former husband Frank Sinatra "possibly" fathered son Ronan, rather than long-assumed dad Woody Allen. But two people are quite certain that what Farrow asserts is bunk: Sinatra's widow, Barbara, and Allen himself. Barbara Sinatra, who was married to the legendary crooner from 1976 until his death in 1998, told Palm Springs, Calif., newspaper the Desert Sun that Farrow's potential admission was "a phony deal." The newspaper reached the 85-year-old widow by phone Wednesday - shortly after Farrow's shocking quasi-claim went public. Barbara Sinatra said she was not...

Mia Farrow took a break from her typical humanitarian efforts to drop a bomb during an interview with Vanity Fair, stating that her son with Woody Allen could instead be Frank Sinatra's.
The actress-activist told the magazine that she and Sinatra "never really split up," despite the fact that they were only married for 18 months and Frank went on to marry Barbara Sinatra and stayed with her until his death in 1998, and when asked if Ronan Farrow might actually be Sinatra's son, she answered with "Possibly."
Barbara, for her part, dismissed the claim, telling The Desert Sun, "It's just a bunch of junk. There's always junk written — lies that aren't true."...
