Anthology Film Supernatural Tales Coming in From Denmark
Supernatural Tales is the latest horrific offering coming from some scary bastards in Denmark. An anthology film containing 16 stories and over 280 minutes of entertainment, this film definitely gives you a bang for your horror buck!

All the films were shown at The Movie Battle competition, held during the Copenhagen Film Festival (Cph Pix), and the films will be available in a fantastic two-dvd set on May 6. Pre-order the DVD here.

We just got some information about the upcoming Denmark horror anthology. "Supernatural Tales" is a new double DVD featuring 16 new horror short films from Denmark, all previously unreleased. All films were shown during the Movie Battle competition in connection with Cph Pix 2012 - www.cphpix.dk - which was held with the theme "supernatural horror".

Like its predecessor, "Wasteland Tales" from the previous Movie Battle in 2010 with a post apocalyptic theme, "Supernatural Tales" is a collection of no less than 16 short films clearly showing there is a surprising solid mass of film making talent for a small country like Denmark, urging to tell stories other than light comedies and social realistic drama.

The Last Demonslayer unveils first images and details
Production has started on The Last Demonslayer, described as "a mix of horror and adventure very much inspired by many of the genre movies from the 80s."

It's being directed by Chilean-born, Danish-based genre director Shaky Gonzales, whose previous works include Angel of the Night and The Grey Gold.

The film is written by Gonzales and Lars Detlefsen and produced by Mikkel Kristensen and Gabrielle Uweis.

The cast includes David Sakurai (Tour de Force, Through Darkness), Daniell Edwards (Pistoleros, Westbrick Murders), Hector Vega Mauricio (Angel of the Night, Pistoleros), Erik Holmey (Conan The Barbarian, Red Sonja), Kim Sønderholm (Little Big Boy, Sinister Visions) and Maja Muhlack (Bleed With Me, The Horror Vault) as the evil Succubus the entire movie revolves around.

The film is now shooting outside Copenhagen, Denmark, but later this year will be in various Us locations, including Death Valley.

Chilean born, now Danish based, director Shaky Gonzalez (Angel of the Night, The Grey Gold) recently started shooting his latest feature film, The Last Demonslayer, which is a mix of horror and adventure, very much inspired by many of the genre movies from the 80ies. A few very early production stills were released today to hopefully pique some interest in the film.

Synopsis:

The Last Demonslayer is written by Shaky Gonzalez and Lars Detlefsen and produced by Mikkel Kristensen (Eastern Army) and debuting producer Gabrielle Uweis. Fans of ’80s fantasy action-adventure/horror rejoice. Director Shaky Gonzalez’s “The Last Demonslayer” is headed your way later this year, and it’s said to be “very much inspired by many of the genre movies from the 80′s”. The whole thing is apparently about an “evil Succubus” played by Maja Muhlack. The film is currently in production outside of Copenhagen, Denmark, but they’ll be heading to shoot in Death Valley in the States later this year.
