Jenevieve Brewer, who founded her Jenevieve Brewer Talent Management in 2015, has passed away. She was an agent at About Face Talent for 10 years and a manager at Terrific Talent before setting out on her own.

The news was first announced by the National Conference of Personal Managers, which posted a short tribute to her on its Twitter page. The organization said it “mourns the passing of veteran personal manager and longtime Ncopm member Jenevieve Brewer.”

Among her clients were Joseph D’Onofrio, who is known for playing young Tommy in Goodfellas; Nicholas Alexander Chavez, who plays Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital; and Lauren C. Mayhew, who played Melanie Garrett on Dexter.

Additionally, she helped clients secure recurring and guest-starring roles on numerous episodics such as Law and Order: Svu, Limitless, Power, Orange Is The New Black, Gotham, FBI: Most Wanted! and Difficult People.

Tony Todd Joins Realm of Shadows: "Horror legend...

A new Candyman movie is on the way, but it has never been completely revealed if horror legend Tony Todd will be reprising his iconic role or not. It certainly sounds like he's in the movie, but that has never been 100% confirmed either. While we await news on that front, it has been announced today that Todd has found a new project to call his own. He will be appearing in a new horror anthology called Realm of Shadows. Here is what the official press release has to say about the popular horror figure coming aboard this interesting new project.

Fox Searchlight has set an awards-season release date of Oct. 4 for Natalie Portman’s astronaut drama “Lucy in the Sky.”

Noah Hawley helmed “Lucy in the Sky” in his directorial feature film debut. Portman stars as an astronaut who returns to Earth after an extended time is space and begins an obsessive affair with a fellow astronaut, played by Jon Hamm. The plot is loosely based on the true story of Nasa astronaut Lisa Nowak, who was arrested in 2007 for the attempted murder of fellow astronaut Colleen Shipman, who was romantically involved with astronaut William Oefelein.

Exclusive: American Horror Story actress Naomi Grossman has joined horror film The Initiation.

The actress joins Vernon Wells, Mel Novak, Lauren C. Mayhew and Jimmy Drain in the ThunderKnight Entertainment Ltd and Aec Studios’ indie pic about a professor struggling to save his marriage and career who uncovers a society of witches. Grossman plays the role of Lillian Know, who is privately the High Priest of the Siren Society of Satan, aka The Sirens.

Production is underway in Denver, Colorado. Monique Candelaria, London Grace and rapper T.O.N.E.-Z round out the cast.

Grossman’s credits include FX’s American Horror Story and Hulu’s Casual. Wells starred in The Road Warrior and Weird Science. Novak is best known for playing Stick The Assassin in Game Of Death, recently starred in sci-fi action film Abeyance and is set to be featured in the upcoming urban legend thriller Ash And Bone with Scout Taylor-Compton.

On June 2nd, "acoustic folk pop" guitarist Meghan Tonjes won What's Trending and Ford's "Escape To Bonnaroo" contest. In a live streamed event held at YouTube Space La, Tonjes beat out David Choi, Lauren Mayhew, Bad Wolf, and Vibe, thus earning the right to perform at Bonnaroo. In an interview, Tonjes told us about her journey on YouTube, which has spanned 542 videos across more than eight years. Tonjes, like many of her peers, never expected to find herself making music for a living. MTV has ordered up a half hour pilot of raunchy comedy web series Private High Musical which debuted last fall, marking the latest of the network's web to TV pickups. Creator and star Taryn Southern will produce the new pilot, which is still in pre-production. As part of the deal, MTV acquires the rights to the series, though Southern will remain a producer and actor in the show. Southern originally cast a talented group of actors she'd worked with before, including Lauren Mayhew and fellow Sorority Forever star Angie Cole, even her new producing partner and web star Jessica Rose made a cameo. Some of the original cast are expected to return, though no word yet on whether Mr. Belding himself, Dennis Haskins, who played Mr. Johnson in the series, will be making his the trip back to primetime.
