Season 4 of The Boys has officially ended with a lot of shocking revelations, more gruesome killings, and a country which was thrown into deeper chaos. With Billy Butcher on a murderous rampage to get his revenge on the chilling Homelander, the 5th and final season of the show is being set up delectably.

The season ended with a post-credit scene that confirmed the return of Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy, who was a pivotal character in season 3. His absence in the 4th season was questioned by a lot of fans, especially since he had close ties with Homelander. Showrunner Eric Kripke elaborated on why the character needed to be brought back for the final showdown.

The Boys Season 4 introduced two new characters into The Seven – Sister Sage, played by Susan Heyward, and Firecracker, played by Valorie Curry. Curry’s Firecracker aka Misty is a right-wing YouTuber and political activist in The Boys universe, who’s a leading figure in the ‘Alt-supe’ movement. It was as if the character was designed to make fans despise her in every way possible.

Curry appeared at the San Diego Comic-Con and shared that the character was a parody of many such controversial characters and that she had to ground her character for the satire to stand out. She shared an interesting take on her character’s future and many fans agree with her.

William Friedkin’s The Exorcist was one of the few horror movies that managed to keep its viewers up late at night, tucked in the safety of their blankets. The Exorcist has had quite a few sequels to date, 5 to be exact. Unfortunately, none of them had an impact on their audience like the O.G. The franchise also produced a television series, The Exorcist, which did well. Coming back to the movies, one failed sequel after the other slowly extinguished the fans’ hopes, and they gave up on the franchise altogether.

Last year, this time around, the box office worldwide was no less than a ferocious battlefield. Releasing in July were two legendary films that were to change the course of the entertainment landscape: Oppenheimer and Barbie. Incredibly diverse and different, both ended up becoming blockbusters with the WWII epic bagging seven Oscars and dozens of other prestigious accolades.

Nope, this isn’t the new Bong Joon-ho movie, but a 3-D oldie from 1982. Although it’s by no means a great picture, fans equipped for Blu-ray 3-D will want to take a look — the depth effects fashioned with the over’n’under Sterevision system are some of the best yet. Stan Winston provides director Charles Band with the ‘Alien’ rip-off title critters, and added interest is provided via an early appearance by Demi Moore, who sleepwalks through her part but certainly looks good. A full complement of extras tell the making-of story; the feature is also encoded in 2-D, for really imaginative viewers.
