Christiane Maybach was born on 14 March 1932 in Berlin, Germany. She was an actress, known for A Study in Terror (1965), The Head (1959) and Unter uns (1994). She died on 12 April 2006 in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

As she resembled <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0000054/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Marilyn Monroe</a>, she became a German sex symbol in the early
1960s.

Lived with her cat &quot;Gigi&quot; in Cologne and Berlin until her death.

Best known to a younger audience as original cast member of daily soap
