Four friends decked out in elaborate costumes spark mayhem when they accidentally unleash a zombie outbreak in ZombieCON Vol.1, the irreverent horror-comedy that arrives on demand 15 July. Blending anime-style fights, razor-sharp satire and buckets of blood, the film follows a quartet of cosplay devotees as they slash through a zombified Los Angeles to rescue their beloved “Mama Bear.”
Directed by Kyle Valle and co-written by Valle alongside stars Manny Luke and Erin Áine, ZombieCON Vol.1 turns fan convention fever into an all-out apocalypse. The story begins when these four best friends inadvertently trigger a virus that reanimates only the worst of humanity. Wielding collectible katanas and clad in homemade armour, they race across LA’s backstreets, comic-book heroes brought to life, to save their kidnapped compatriot.

After Addams Family Values struggled at the box office, another film still followed a few years later. But Addams Family 3 this was not...
Were the world right, then in 1993, Addams Family Values would have got both the rich acclaim and enormous box office it merited. A deliciously playful sequel, it’s 94 minutes of tightly put together comedy, with a bunch of performers that come close to defining ‘perfectly cast’. Christina Ricci, clinging to a fence as she’s threatened with the Harmony Hut, remains a comedy highlight of 1990s cinema.
But the film didn’t really hit. As much as it was liked, its box office was less than half of the original. It was released the week before Mrs Doubtfire in the Us, and it was the latter that become the widely seen family comedy of Christmas 1993. Addams Family Values would do okay at best, but...

Los Angeles (AP) — Jason Derulo knows his recent hit, "Talk Dirty," is risque, but he's not too worried about it. "I try to be conscious of offending anybody, but not that much," he said. "I really just try to do my thing and of course there is going to be backlash on every song that I do, so I don't worry myself too much on that. People saying things like 'objectifying women.' I'm like, 'What are you even talking about?'" "Talk Dirty" has dominated pop radio, and the song has peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It has sold 3.2 million tracks and features lyrics like "but your booty don't need explaining" and "first-class seat on my lap girl." "I wasn't surprised that it would hit mainstream. I think in 2014 things, you know, are getting more and more free (and) liberal," he said. "I hear a lot worse.

Sosie Bacon may only be 21, but she has a lot going for her. On top of being 2014's Miss Golden Globe, through her father Kevin Bacon, she is connected to nearly everyone in Hollywood - including every other previous Miss Golden Globe, most of whom are also the daughters (or sons) of industry power players. And while some have a connection through their famous parents, others, such as Laura Dern (who happens to have famous parents), are also connected through their own work. Don't believe us? Here's how you get from young Ms. Bacon to all of her famous predecessors,...

Written by Nicole Pedersen As if watching Megan Fox play Mother Teresa wasn’t hot, I mean uplifting, enough – the actress will soon be seen bathed in the celestial rays of heaven itself… and this time it’s no joke! Fox has signed to play an angel opposite Mickey Rourke in the indie film “Passion Plays”. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Passion Plays” centers on a down and out trumpet player (Rourke) in 1950s Los Angeles who gets a shot at redemption after he comes to the aid of a young woman (Fox) who just so happens to be an angel. Note: a shot of redemption is totally in the bag if you save a being of divine light. “Passion Plays” was written by Mitch Glazer, the man who brought us the Bill Murray classic “Scrooged”. Glazer will also be behind the camera on the “dramatic but heartwarming” new indie feature.
