    American actress, who, early in her career, formed half of the vaudeville act of "Linton & McIntyre", singing, dancing and playing the banjo. She later appeared in comedy with her husband, John Hyams. They also acted together on the Broadway stage in the 1911 musical comedy "The Girl Of My Dreams", and on screen in the 1927 short comedy "All in Fun". Leila twice portrayed Mary Todd Lincoln in 1936: in both "The Plainsman" and "The Prisoner of Shark Island".
