Born in Dublin, Alison studied theatre at Trinity College. On graduating her first UK stage job was 'Night Of The Iguana' at the National Theatre, London, directed by Richard Eyre, opposite Alfred Molina and Eileen Aitkins. 'The Hostage' at the RSC, Barbican stage followed and a two hander play with Rhys Ifans at the Royal Court directed by Ian Rickson. Alongside being a series regular in Pie In The Sky ( Richard Griffiths), Alison played Hester Worsley in Marianne Elliots production of A Woman Of No Importance at the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre with Diana Hardcastle and Alexi Kaye Campbell and performed regularly at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. Twice nominated in The Irish Times Theatre Awards as best actress Alison lives between London and Dublin.
