Outlander‘s final season is in sight, and the show’s stars stopped by the TV Insider and TV Guide Magazine video and portrait studio at San Diego Comic-Con to tease it. Following their panel presentation with executive producers Maril Davis and Matthew B. Roberts, stars Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, and Richard Rankin dropped in to take photos and offer some hints about where Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser’s love story will take viewers when it finally returns to Starz. As fans saw in the previously released teaser for Season 8, which was shown at the panel presentation, Jamie’s life hangs in the balance when a book written by Claire’s first husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies), states as much. Theorizing about the validity of Frank’s claims, published posthumously, seems to be Season 8’s big conundrum. Then again, it could be a misdirect as Claire came to the...

In 2015, Viola Davis won the Best Drama Actress Emmy for How to Get Away with Murder, becoming the category's first Black winner. That left one acting category that had yet to produce a Black champ: Best Drama Supporting Actor. Ten years later, that remains the case — even the short-form acting categories, which were created in 2016 and consolidated into one in 2024, have awarded Black performers — but that could finally change in September with one of two Severance stars: Tramell Tillman or Zach Cherry.
Tillman and Cherry were among the seven supporting drama players tapped for nominations on Tuesday, alongside costar John Turturro, The White Lotus triumvirate of Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, and Sam Rockwell, and Paradise's president, James Marsden.
Neither Tillman nor Cherry was nominated for the first season in 2022, not surprising for unknown actors on a new show. With Severance leading all comers this year with 27 Emmy nominations, there's...

Brad Pitt had a huge hit on his hands with the release of his latest movie, F1. Following the film's success, which saw F1 becoming the company's biggest box office hit, Apple is speeding toward an exciting new opportunity.

As of now, F1 has a deal with ESPN that is set to expire in 2026, and the increasing popularity of their races has sparked bidders taking interest. If Apple finalizes a deal, F1 races could start streaming on Apple TV+ by next year, but the company might need to pony up some big bucks to make it happen.

Forgotten 21% Rotten Tomatoes Hit Feels the ‘G-Force’ as It’s Overtaken by ‘F1’ at Global Box Office
The mega-budget sports drama F1 has overtaken a bunch of blockbusters already, in only 10 days of release. But, among the most recent hits that the film passed at the global box office is one that has largely been forgotten, despite having made nearly $300 million worldwide. Released in 2010, the movie G-Force was co-produced by none other than Jerry Bruckheimer, who, funnily enough, also produced F1. G-Force followed a team of (literal) guinea pigs who are enlisted as spies by the government. The movie was produced on a reported budget of $150 million, and featured more than one Academy Award winner in its cast.
G-Forcegrossed $292 million at the global box office; F1, on the other hand, has made $293 million. Directed by the debutante Hoyt H. Yeatman Jr., G-Force featured stars such as Bill Nighy, Zach Galifianakis and Will Arnett in the live-action roles, and Nicolas Cage, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Penélope Cruz, Jon Favreau...

The soundtrack to Brad Pitt’s F1 is nearly as star-studded as the movie itself, which stars Pitt in the shoes of an aging veteran Sonny Hayes, and Damson Idris as talented rookie Joshua Pearce. While the movie still boasts a rocking score from Hans Zimmer, marking the composer’s second collaboration with Joseph Kosinski, it’s the star-studded and diverse soundtrack that really kicks the paddle shifter into overdrive.
There are no bad songs to choose from, as the blend of originals and classics complements the movie’s high octane nature and the rising conflict between Jp and Hayes. However, some tracks do stand out better than others, especially the ones that perfectly underscore the more impactful moments in the movie.

The following contains spoilers for F1, in theaters now.
As F1 laps its box-office competition, the movie's director is suggesting that the Brad Pitt-led racing drama may not have reached the finish line just yet. Helmer Joseph Kosinski admits the film's post-credits scene sets up a possible sequel, but concedes it's not up to him whether or not the follow-up happens.
Speaking with GQ, Kosinski addressed the F1 post-credits sequence, which shows Pitt's character Sonny Hayes driving in the Baja 1000, an annual off-road race in Mexico. The scene was initially supposed to feature at the start of F1, before Sonny's friend Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem) approaches him about returning to Formula One.
According to Kosinski, the post-credits scene was left in to engage the audience and help determine whether a sequel is plausible. “That's up for the audience to decide,” he said. “I think we leave it on...

As Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt sees his newly acclaimed sports drama, F1, race into theaters, one of his recent films drives up renewed interest online after critics put the brakes on it a few years ago. Pitt's action comedy, Bullet Train, is on the right track on streaming as it chugs along on the Max charts.
Per Flix Patrol, Bullet Train ranks sixth on Max's top 10 movie chart in the United States at the time of writing, moving up a list topped by the recently added video game adaptation, A Minecraft Movie. The film jumped up two spots from the previous day and has also been performing well in other countries.

There are currently a lot of IMAX tickets sold for the Thursday and Friday screenings of the F1 The Movie. The premium format is said to be a very immersive experience for the film and our own Chris Bumbray glowed in his 9/10 review that it’s “one of the most awe-inspiring works of pure spectacle seen on the big screen in years. It’s stunning to look at, and the IMAX ratio makes the racing scenes feel like a rollercoaster ride.” He also stated, “It can’t be denied that F1 is an absolute rollercoaster ride of a movie, and – like Sinners – helps make the case for theatres still being essential to a particular kind of filmmaking. Hopefully, this is the blockbuster hit it deserves to be.”
He has also written a column about why you should see F1 in IMAX, which you can check out Here. Deadline has reported...

Brad Pitt's F1 is set to race circles around its major opposition at the box office. New projections show F1 coming out on top during its opening weekend, including a win over horror sequel M3GAN 2.0.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros. and Apple Original Films' F1 is expected to make between $40 million and $50 million domestically in the first three days of its theatrical run, more than double the projected take for Universal Pictures' M3GAN 2.0 ($20 million). Furthermore, presales for F1 are reportedly outdoing recent blockbusters such as Gladiator 2. Meanwhile, M3GAN 2.0's presales are below expectations; the movie's opening weekend is on track to make nearly five times less than the original ($95.1 million domestically).
Building on a strong domestic start, F1 is expected to earn around $75 million in overseas territories, culminating in a start of at least $115 million worldwide. The film's opening weekend could outperform recent racing films...

F1 lets Brad Pitt live his decades-long dream of being in an auto racing movie. That dream is a reality thanks to director Joseph Kosinski, who is explaining why Pitt is the "perfect" lead for Warner Bros. and Apple's upcoming sports drama.
Speaking with ComicBook.com, Kosinski claimed the Oscar-winning actor was his immediate choice to star as Sonny Hayes, given the actor's longtime love of racing. "He’s on the Mount Rushmore of actors that I want to work with and... I knew he was interested in racing," Kosinski said. "When I kind of came up with the idea of wanting to tell a story in this world, he was at the top of the list."
"So then it’s about coming up with a story that feels kind of authentic to who he is... kind of crafting a character for him," the director continued. "When people see [the movie], I...

Simone Ashley proudly stepped out to celebrate her work in the movie F1, despite her scenes being cut from the finished film.
The 30-year-old actress wore a golden gown to attend the European premiere on Monday (June 23) at Cineworld Leicester Square in London, England.
Simone walked the carpet solo, separately from co-stars Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Shea Whigham, Joseph Balderrama, Sarah Niles, Samson Kayo, Abdul Salis, Callie Cooke, and Will Merrick.
The director of the movie explained Simone‘s absence from the movie last week.

The team behind smash hit Top Gun sequel Maverick – director Joseph Kosinski, writer Ehren Kruger and producer Jerry Bruckheimer – reunite for this officially branded Formula One racing drama, which will be jockeying for pole position amongst this summer’s blockbusters. For the most part, it ticks all the right boxes, but that’s also part of the problem, because this Formula One movie is ultimately a little too formulaic for its own good.
The plot centres on Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a formerly promising Formula One driver, who dropped out of the sport following a horrific crash in the ‘90s. Now living out of his van and entering random races just for the fun of it, Sonny is approached by former teammate-turned-owner Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem...

Dubbed “the greatest that never was,” Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was Formula 1’s most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, he’s a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling Formula 1 team that is on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to Formula 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world. He’ll drive alongside Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), the team’s hotshot rookie,...

With F1 racing into theaters soon, another recent Brad Pitt movie is finding renewed interest online. Apple TV+'s action comedy Wolfs, starring Pitt alongside fellow A-lister George Clooney, is once again a hit on the streaming service nearly a year after its premiere.
Per Collider, Wolfs is trending globally in the Top 5 of Apple TV+'s movie chart. The Jon Watts film continues to be popular for Apple after becoming the platform's most-viewed title upon its unexpected streaming debut in September 2024 -- and the cancellation of its intended sequel.
Wolfs saw the Oscar-winning actors -- who also serve as producers -- portraying a pair of nameless professional fixers who were forced to work together on a job, despite being rivals and preferring to work alone. After premiering to lukewarm feedback at 2024's Venice International Film Festival, Wolfs earned more solid reviews upon release. It had a 67% critical rating and 72% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
