In the mid-1990s, Joel Metzger fled the cultural moonscape of Indiana to arrive in Los Angeles with an empty rolodex and a war chest of almost 1500 dollars. In the intervening years he has worked for, and stolen office supplies from, nearly every studio in Hollywood. In 2006, Joel's original pilot "Hothouse Bruiser" was the only drama chosen out of 500 entries in the Slamdance Teleplay Contest. Joel Metzger has traveled to nearly every corner of the globe -- keeping in mind the globe, being spherical, technically has no corners.
