Drew and later wrote for the Daredevil comic series for Marvel comics. He also wrote the spin off mini series Electra: Assasin and the graphic novel Electra Lives. He also drew the first Wolverine mini-Series for Marvel Comics.
For DC Comics he wrote and drew Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again and Batman: Year One. He also wrote and drew the mini-series, Ronin.
For Dark Horse Comics, created the series,300, Give Me Liberty and Sin City.
