Fans might get another Wonder Womanmovie in the near future. The news comes by way of industry insiders close to the studio.

Sources told Variety that Warner Bros. Discovery is "fast-tracking a Wonder Woman movie. And the studio is thrilled with Matt Reeves' just-submitted screenplay draft for the sequel to The Batman." And although the studio is interested in a sequel with Superman stars David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan, an announcement will likely not happen any time soon. Representatives for the studio have not commented on these reports.

The last time Diana Prince was seen in her own feature film was in writer-director Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 1984. Released in 2020, Wonder Woman 1984 marked the second Wonder Woman film to star Gal Gadot, and dropped viewers into the middle of the 1980s for a period-appropriate superhero story. The film starred an ensemble cast, including returning star Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.

Alien: River Of Pain, the novel by Christopher Maggs, has been given a glossy audio drama adaptation by Dirk Maggs and the fine folks at Audible.

The story is set before and during the events of Aliens, offering further details about the Hadley’s Hope colony of Lv-426, what went wrong there, and how the decision was made to send Ripley, Burke, Bishop and the Colonial Marines to investigate.

A number of cast members from the film reprise their roles: William Hope as Lieutenant Gorman, Mac MacDonald as Colony Administrator Al Simpson, Stuart Milligan as the salvager that found Ripley drifting in deep space, and Alibe Parsons as Gateway Station’s med tech.

So basically this is “Doctor Who does Beowulf with special guest star Roger from American Dad!” That it does so in a very good, entertaining fashion is kind of a given, seeing as this is something from Big Finish. But it is not without problems.

First, this story, far more than most from Big Finish, really relies on you knowing what’s gone before. You don’t have to have listened to the three prior stories, “Project: Destiny”, “The House of Blue Fire” and “Protect and Survive”, but if you haven’t you’re going to be desperately confused. You’ll have no idea who Sally Morgan (Amy Pemberton) and Lysandra Aristedes (Maggie O’Neill) are, for example (you might not even know who Hex (Phillip Olivier) is, if you haven’t heard any of the audios). You won’t know of their past,...

River (Alex Kingston) has the same markings too as she's chased by The Silent. She marks her arm everytime she sees one. It's a tally to remind her she's seen them. Canton catches up with her too and she tells him they were invaded a long time ago. She's cornered by him and his men; uttering, "There's always a way out." Before she plunges backwards off the edge.

Like any good companion of the Doctor, we’ve waited too long for his return, but the wait is over. Tonight saw the Series 6 premiere of Doctor Who on BBC America. Steven Moffat’s greatest strength is also his greatest weakness. The episodes he wrote during Russell T. Davies’ era of Doctor Who‘s revival buzzed with a complex playfulness that was mostly absent at that time in its history. As the incumbent showrunner he can indulge himself with similar takes on almost a weekly basis, and there were times during “The Impossible Astronaut” when you missed the show’s simplicity and, to be honest, the narrative somersaults were too dominant. This is a show that, while still fundamentally simple and beautifully accessible (eccentric alien travels through Time and Space saving the universe with human companions), now revels in in-jokes, Cat’s Cradle plotting, and geeky references. The good news is that most people watching can keep up, or want to try, but this was still a dizzying, hectic storyline — and one that likely confused Americans the BBC so clearly want to convert into Whovians…...

With a new trailer, new faces and a new writer, the hit sci-fi show Doctor Who made an appearance at San Francisco's WonderCon.

Like most of the Us convention circuit, WonderCon had its share of big comic book reveals, exciting new film footage and stars talking about all things fabulous in Hollywood.

Despite all of that, nothing managed to overshadow the anticipation for Sunday's Doctor Who panel. Present were director Toby Haynes (Five Days, Being Human), actor Mark Sheppard (24, Battlestar Galactica, Warehouse 13) and writer extraordinaire - and newcomer to Doctor Who - Neil Gaiman (pictured; Neverwhere, American Gods), all introduced by moderator Chris Hardwick.

The panel - which focused heavily on the two-part story that not only takes place in the Us, but was also filmed on location in the Utah desert - hit on the usual claims of the Doctor facing his biggest threat ever...

Just as Craig Ferguson's 'Who'-related talk show episode last week scored a lot of great columnist write-ups, details have begun to emerge on the currently shooting sixth season of "Doctor Who" via Gallifrey Base.

First up BBC America have announced that the Christmas special, entitled "A Christmas Carol", will be fast tracked to certain international territories including the U.S. and Australia where, with time zone differences taken into account, it will air literally just a few hours after the U.K. broadcast (December 25th in the U.S., December 26th in Australia).

American-born actor Stuart Milligan is to make a guest appearance in the upcoming sixth series of Doctor Who. Doctor Who Magazine reports that the Jonathan Creek star will feature in the Us-based opening two-parter. Milligan previously voiced the character of General Stark in Doctor Who animation Dreamland and also starred in the 2003 revamp of Crossroads. The animated story Dreamland will be be released in North America on 4th May. The 45 minute story was originally made for the BBC's interactive service.

The story features the vocal talents of David Tennant, Georgia Moffett, David Warner, Stuart Milligan and Clark Peters and is set in the infamous alien hotspot Roswell. It is described by writer Phil Ford as 'Doctor Who meets a Fifties monster B-movie'.

Like the UK release, the DVD will be part of a two disc set and will feature the three documentaries looking back at the last five years of Doctor Who, Doctor Who's Greatest Moments, which were shown in the UK last summer.

The BBC has confirmed that the animated story, Dreamland, will be shown, complete, on BBC Two on Saturday 5th December at 10am and on the BBC HD channel at a time to be confirmed.

Dreamland which stars the vocal talents of David Tennant, Georgia Moffett, David Warner, Stuart Milligan and Clark Peters, is set in the infamous alien hotspot Roswell and described by writer Phil Ford as 'Doctor Who meets a Fifties monster B-movie'.

The BBC Two showing will follow the story's début on the BBC's interactive services from Saturday 21st November. The six episodes will air on a daily basis and will be available on the BBC website as well as on the Red Button services on Sky and Virgin from 7am on 21 November to 4am on 28 November.

The service will also be on freeview at various times depending on other broadcast requirements.
