Steve Monroe(I)

Steve Monroe is a veteran Hollywood actor with more than three decades of experience and over 150 film, television, and commercial credits. Known for his memorable characters and sharp comedic instincts, he and his wife, actress Alana Monroe, are the co-founders of Looking Up Media, a virtue-driven production company creating faith-filled and artistically compelling films and television projects. Beyond acting, Monroe is a licensed psychotherapist, supporting entertainment professionals and individuals in recovery as they navigate the challenges of the industry. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he studied at Duke University and Occidental College, earning a joint degree in Russian Language and Theatre Arts, and completed his Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2010. Over the course of his acting career, he has worked with some of Hollywood’s most respected filmmakers, including Clint Eastwood, Robert Zemeckis, Tom Shadyac, Jay Roach, Todd Phillips, Donald Petrie, and Daniel Petrie. Today, Monroe continues to perform while balancing his psychotherapy practice and developing projects through Looking Up Media-bringing energy, insight, and passion to every role and a distinctive blend of humor, depth, and humanity.
