Seiichi Morimura(1933-2023)

He was a Japanese author who wrote hundreds of mystery novels. But he gained international notice with his exposé of a secret biological warfare branch of the Imperial Army that subjected thousands of people in occupied China to sadistic medical experiments during WWII. It was the first such account made widely available to the Japanese public; it became a bestseller and eventually a trilogy.
