Azuma Morisaki was born on 19 November 1927 in Shimabara, Nagasaki, Japan. He was a director and writer, known for Pecoross' Mother and Her Days (2013), Chicken Is Barefoot (2004) and High-School Outcasts (1971). He died on 16 July 2020 in Chigasaki, Kanagawa, Japan.
