A new Ghostbusters miniseries from Dark Horse Comics will bridge the gap between Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Ghostbusters: Back in Town explores the new dynamics of the family-based Ghostbusters team and their move to the iconic Firehouse in New York City. The miniseries, set to be released in March 2024, will ease fans into the highly anticipated Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire film and provide insight into the characters' stories between the two entries.

Marvel Comics' "Rogue & Gambit" #1, available March 1, 2023, is written by Stephanie Phillips and illustrated by Carlos Gomez, with covers by Steve Morris, Zu Orzu, Marc Aspinall, Lucas Werneck and Alex Ross:

The 12th ComicsPRO Annual Meeting — an event bringing comics retailers together to discuss industry business, along with presentations from comics publishers — takes place next, Feb. 22-Feb. 24 in Portland. Cbr has the first look at two variant covers that Dark Horse Comics (based in Milwaukie, Oregon) will have available at the event.

Greg W. Swartz's "Another Harvest Moon," a drama about senior citizens starring Ernest Borgnine, Piper Laurie, Anne Meara, Doris Roberts, Richard Schiff and Cybill Shepherd, will open the 13th annual Hollywood Film Festival on Oct. 23 at the ArcLight Cinemas.

The three-day fest will feature 80 features, shorts and music videos, including Steve Morris' "The Assistants," about Hollywood assistants, Kim Tae-kyun's "Crossing," Adam Kane's "Formosa Betrayed," Jeff Stephenson's "Not Since You" and Vlad Yudin's "Last Day of Summer."

The fest also announced nominees for its Hollywood Movie Awards, which will be decided by public voting at the Yahoo! Movies Web site. They are "(500) Days of Summer," "District 9," "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," "The Hangover," "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," "The Hurt Locker," "Inglourious Basterds," "Star Trek," "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and "Up."...
