Greg W. Swartz's "Another Harvest Moon," a drama about senior citizens starring Ernest Borgnine, Piper Laurie, Anne Meara, Doris Roberts, Richard Schiff and Cybill Shepherd, will open the 13th annual Hollywood Film Festival on Oct. 23 at the ArcLight Cinemas.
The three-day fest will feature 80 features, shorts and music videos, including Steve Morris' "The Assistants," about Hollywood assistants, Kim Tae-kyun's "Crossing," Adam Kane's "Formosa Betrayed," Jeff Stephenson's "Not Since You" and Vlad Yudin's "Last Day of Summer."
The fest also announced nominees for its Hollywood Movie Awards, which will be decided by public voting at the Yahoo! Movies Web site. They are "(500) Days of Summer," "District 9," "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra," "The Hangover," "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," "The Hurt Locker," "Inglourious Basterds," "Star Trek," "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and "Up."...
