Image
The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates reveal Hunter Tylo finally speaks out, and tells the real reason she stepped away from playing the original Taylor Hayes on the CBS soap. Read on to see what she says after a rare interview on You Tube.

Hunter Originated The Role Of Taylor Hayes

Hunter originated the role of Taylor Hayes in 1990, with her last appearance having been in 2019. She also appeared in other soap operas over the years, but is best known for the role of Taylor, married to Ridge Forrester.

Thorsten Kaye Reveals The 1 Thing That Keeps B&b’s Ridge Fun After 12 Years
Image
Thorsten Kaye had big shoes to fill as Ridge on The Bold and the Beautiful. But the actor’s made the role his own and is still going strong after a decade. As he nears his 12th anniversary with the show, Kaye is still having a blast.

His Longest Role

Kaye is no stranger to the soap opera world. His previous roles include Ian on One Life to Live, Ian on Port Charles, and Zach on All My Children. But in 2013, he landed his biggest role to date.

When Ronn Moss left B&b in 2012, the show needed a big name for the new Ridge. They found him in Kaye, who debuted in December 2013. Kaye had his work cut out taking over for Moss, but fans soon warmed up to the new Ridge.

Now, 12 years and 2 Daytime Emmys later, Kaye has become a leading man of B&b. And as he told TV Insider,...

B&b Spoilers: This Is The Real Reason Why Hunter Tylo Left The Show
Image
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that for years, fans have been wondering why Hunter Tyler left the show so suddenly when she did back in 2013. Well, we’ve got the answer for it.

This Is The Real Reason Why Hunter Tylo Left The Show

Apparently, the actress, who was best known for her role as Taylor Hayes, believed that her character wasn’t being given the respect that she believed she deserved at the time. And she’s not wrong about it, either.

In an interview with French TV Guide Telestar back in 2013, Hunter made it clear that she was none too pleased with the direction that her character was going in at the time. And let’s just say that she didn’t hold back at all.

She said, “My contract ended. The show completely changed after Ronn Moss and Susan Flannery left. I was happy that...

Andy Sidaris films are getting the novelization treatment, starting with Malibu Express and Hard Ticket to Hawaii
Image
Filmmaker Andy Sidaris – whose work I first encountered back in the days when Joe Bob Briggs had a show on The Movie Channel – made movies that have been boiled down to descriptions like “bullets, bombs, and babes” and “girls, guns, and g-strings,” and now the folks at Encyclopocalypse Publications have set out to give not just one or two Sidaris movies the novelization treatment; they intend to publish novels based on “the whole damn catalog”! They’re starting out with two novelizations that are set to be released on July 29th, with author Brad Carter taking on the task of turning Sidaris’s 1985 film Malibu Express and his 1987 film Hard Ticket to Hawaii into novels.

Encyclopocalypse Publications notes that this Sidaris novelization endeavor is being carried out in collaboration with the filmmaker’s widow Arlene Sidaris, and “it’s all about keeping Andy’s legacy alive in the loudest, sleaziest,...

Here’s Where You Can Catch Classic Bold and the Beautiful Episodes
Image
Many fans of soaps lament the fact that it’s not very easy to check out older episodes. In the past, there was a cable and satellite channel called SoapNet that provided evening showings of all soaps that aired on a given day. Sadly, it only dabbled in past episodes and is no more. But now, fans of The Bold and the Beautiful can rejoice. Classic episodes are being served up on a new streaming platform, and it could open the floodgates for other shows to do the same.

Shout It to the Mountaintops

Shout! Factory is a video distribution company that releases cult and classic film and TV shows, often with restored, high-quality versions, appealing to fans everywhere. Now, they’ve got a deal that will definitely appeal to B&b fans. Its television arm, Shout! TV, has taken its Free Ad-supported Streaming Television channel, aka Fast, and AVOD,...

B&b Spoilers: Is Liam Spencer Really Going To Die?
Image
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease a tough time for Liam ahead, but does that mean it’s really the end of Waffler Jr. or will he somehow pull through?

Liam’s Plight Seems Familiar

While many newer B&b fans have been comparing Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) tumor story to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) mystery illness at the end of 2023, there might be another story that is even more familiar to longtime fans.

In the end, John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) found a cure for Eric and he is now stronger than ever. However, back in the 1990s, another young character unexpectedly did succumb to cancer.

Liam’s Aunt Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson) lost her life to cancer when she was a young newlywed married to Ridge Forrester (then played by Ronn Moss).

She also didn’t want anyone to know she was dying,...

Image
MacKenzie Mauzy is famous to soap fans for playing Phoebe on The Bold and the Beautiful. After leaving the show in 2008, she went on to land many other roles. However, her latest role is one that holds a special place in her heart.

Baby Makes Three

Mauzy played Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) daughter, and Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) twin sister from 2006 to 2008. The Bold And The Beautiful: Ridge, Brooke, And Taylor Circle The Romantic Drain, Again
Image
History is repeating itself on The Bold and the Beautiful. Nearly 25 years ago, there was a scene where Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was demanding that Ridge Forrester (then Ronn Moss) choose between her and Taylor Hayes (then Hunter Tylo) on the spot.

His initial response was to look like a jovial deer caught in headlights, unsure of what to say, but also loving the rush of the situation.

Fast-forward to now, and a similar situation is playing out between Brooke, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Taylor (Rebecca Budig), but it is even more ridiculous now, and not just because both of these women are smart and beautiful.

Brooke Insists That Ridge Is Her Destiny

After their most recent reunion a few years ago, Ridge and Brooke swore to each other that this was it, for life.

They had been through enough, with each other and with other loves, and now...

Spotted: Bold and the Beautiful Alum Jennifer Finnigan Guest Stars with Husband on ABC’s 911
Image
On a recent episode of ABC’s 911, Bold and the Beautiful alum Jennifer Finnigan guest starred with a familiar face—her real-life husband, Jonathan Silverman. They have been together for 20 years and married for roughly 17 years. So, it was a lot of fun to see them play a contentious couple on the hit Ryan Murphy series that moved from Fox to ABC this season.

Divorce 2024 Style

What was fun about this particular guest star appearance was knowing that Finnigan and Silverman were married in real life. In the episode of 911 titled “Confessions,” they were a husband and wife negotiating a tricky divorce. And, of course, it was messy, toxic, and chaotic.

Silverman’s character had hooked up with his attorney. On top of that, every time he sneezed, Finnigan’s character knew he was lying. That was his big tell. Unfortunately, for the husband, that would be his undoing.

What Was Massimo’s Role In Forrester Creations on Bold and the Beautiful?
Image
The current corporate chaos at Forrester Creations on The Bold and the Beautiful has raised questions about the company’s hierarchy. Currently, Ridge and his daughter Steffy are co-CEOs. Ridge wanted to step back and focus on design, so he assigned Brooke senior responsibilities. But that doesn’t mean she gets the final say on her daughter’s collection.

This also raises questions about Massimo Marone’s former role in Forrester Creations. He wanted to help Stephanie Forrester reclaim the company from her husband, Eric. Years ago, this led to a similar corporate shakeup. Find out how Massimo’s shares could help Steffy and her brother, Thomas.

Who Was Massimo Marone?

Massimo (Joseph Mascolo) worked for Forrester Creations from 2001 to 2006. When he first arrived in Los Angeles, he wanted to reconnect with Stephanie (Susan Flannery). The two stayed in touch without Eric’s (John McCook) knowledge. They schemed to take over Forrester Creations.

Here’s What Happened to Logan Designs on Bold and the Beautiful
Image
The Logans and Forresters are again at odds on The Bold and the Beautiful. While Brooke’s Bedroom is hot, Hope for the Future is not. The couture collection is currently up in the air. But there was a time when the Logans had their own fashion house that rivaled Forrester Creations.

About Logan Designs

Logan Designs had many names. It went by Jackie M. Designs and Spectra Couture by Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley). Logan Designs had a brief stint in 2003 when Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was removed from her role as CEO of Forrester Creations.

Ridge (then Ronn Moss) gifted Spectra Couture to Sally. She was in a feud with Brooke at the time. Brooke ended up with the fashion brand and then renamed it Logan Designs. The fashion company didn’t last and was affected by the death of Storm (Ethan Wayne), who accidentally shot his sister Katie (Heather Tom).

Hits and Misses

What we think worked and didn’t work.

The Young and the Restless

Hit: Traci and Alan are back. Traci (Beth Maitland) and Alan (Christopher Cousins) traveled to the United States and back to France. They’ve returned to Genoa City and are already talking about moving in together. Welcome back.

Miss/Hit: Jack and Diane have a huge shouting match while Victor overhears. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) are better than that. But they will all be forgiven, and this miss will become a hit if they’re setting up Victor (Eric Braeden) and the public argument was a ruse.

Here’s Who Taylor Should Make A Play For On Bold and the Beautiful
Image
It would be easy to think that Taylor is still pining for Ridge on The Bold and the Beautiful. However, it could be a different Forrester man that she set her sights on with this recent return, and it would cause even more chaos.

Taylor’s Attraction to Eric

There was a time when Taylor (Rebecca Budig) was attracted to Eric (John McCook). Hunter Tylo famously portrayed Taylor. The two first flirted in 1995, and Taylor couldn’t resist him. She felt guilty because she knew his wife, Stephanie (Susan Flannery), wanted him back.

Taylor promised never to pursue him further, so the two kept their kiss a secret. In 1998, Taylor married Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and became Eric’s daughter-in-law. Ronn Moss portrayed Ridge at the time.

In 2013, Taylor had an affair with Eric. She learned that her daughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was pregnant with Liam’s (Scott Clifton) baby.

Ronn Moss, who is best known for starring in one of the longest-running soap operas, The Bold And The Beautiful, was once accused of going under the knife. The plastic surgery rumors got so out of control that the now 72-year-old actor was prompted to deny the allegations.

The TV hunk Ronn Moss is most famous for portraying dashing designer Ridge Forrester for 25 years on The Bold & The Beautiful. Moss exited the show in 2012 after he was asked to take a pay cut for his role. His decision to leave was also spurred by a horrible accident that prevented him from memorizing lines.
