Ato Mukhamedzhanov was born on 2 September 1940 in Stalinabad, Tajik SSR, USSR [now Dushanbe, Tajikistan]. He was an actor and assistant director, known for The Bodyguard (1979), The Blessed Bukhara (1991) and Govoryashchiy rodnik (1985). He died on 9 September 2002 in Isafara, Tajikistan.
