We've known for a while now that work is underway on Daredevil: Born Again season 2, and following last night's season 1 finale, stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio have shared a message with fans from the show's set.

In that, a battered and bloody D'Onofrio reveals that they're currently filming in Fogwell's Gym. Not only is this where Battlin' Jack Murdock used to fight, but it's a location we saw Matt Murdock train at during Netflix's Daredevil.

Set photos have confirmed that this will be the location of a charity boxing match with the Kingpin taking on someone called "Matter Horn." Later images revealed Daredevil locking horns with an old foe.

Daredevil is one of Marvel's most iconic heroes, and when the character's self-titled Netflix series debuted in 2015, it was a major television event. The recent release of the trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has fans psyched to see beloved superhero Daredevil helm his own show for the first time since 2018. As one of New York City’s most established heroes, Daredevil has some of the most consistently compelling rogues in all Marvel Comics – yet only a handful have been adapted onscreen. Fans have seen heavy hitters like the Kingpin and Bullseye expertly portrayed in the MCU thanks to Netlfix’s fan-favorite Daredevil (2015) series, but ol’ Hornhead has more foes than just these two.

Matt Murdock isn’t the only religious superhero in the Marvel Universe. In addition to fellow Catholic Nightcrawler of the X-Men, there’s the Presbyterian Christian Wolfsbane, Muslim Ms. Marvel, pantheist Black Panther, and Jewish characters like Moon Knight and Kitty Pryde.
