Akira Nakao was born on 11 August 1942 in Chiba, Japan. He was an actor and director, known for Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (2002), Owls' Castle (1999) and Death at an Old Mansion (1975). He was married to Shino Ikenami and Narumi Kayashima. He died on 16 May 2024 in Tokyo, Japan.
