If the story of Freddie Mercury and Queen can lead to an Oscar (or four) for Bohemian Rhapsody, why wouldn't you make a film about Frankie Goes To Hollywood crafting iconic song 'Relax'? Per Deadline, Working Title is planning just that, with It's A Sin's Callum Scott Howells aboard to play frontman Holly Johnson in Relax.

Bernard Rose, who has a deep connection to the band and that song as he directed the 'Relax' music video, has adapted Johnson's memoir A Bone In My Flute and will make the film, which will chronicle the genesis and impact of the song. Alongside Howells, the producers will look to cast fellow Frankie members Paul Rutherford, Mark O'Toole, Brian Nash and Peter Gill.

The group, also well known for number one hits 'Two Tribes' and 'The Power Of Love' were among the biggest pop acts of the ’80s.

Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s original lineup of Holly Johnson, Paul Rutherford, Mark O’Toole, Brian Nash, and Peter Gill reunited for their first performance in 36 years on Sunday.

The group’s comeback came as part of the opening weekend festivities of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Appearing on stage in Liverpool, they performed “Welcome To The Pleasuredome.” Watch fan-captured footage below.

Ahead of the performance, Nash told the BBC that reuniting for a show in their hometown of Liverpool “felt like a good thing to do,” and said they were looking forward to feeling “a bit of Scouse love.” (“Scouse” is the informal term for a Liverpool accent.)

It’s unclear whether Frankie Goes to Hollywood has any reunion plans beyond Sunday’s Eurovision performance.

Relax — Frankie Goes to Hollywood is coming back. The pop band behind the 1983 smash hit “Relax” will reunite to perform on May 7th in their hometown of Liverpool, England, the BBC reports.

Featuring their classic lineup of Holly Johnson, Brian Nash, Paul Rutherford, Mark O’Toole, and Peter Gill, Frankie Goes to Hollywood will play the opening weekend of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Though a few members of the band have played together before in the past couple of decades, this performance will mark the first time all original members have shared a stage since they broke up in 1987.

Mark Miller, who portrayed the patriarch of a castle-dwelling family on the 1960s NBC sitcom Please Don’t Eat the Daisies and co-wrote the Keanu Reeves-starring romantic drama A Walk in the Clouds, has died. He was 97.

Miler died Friday in Santa Monica of natural causes, a family spokesperson announced. Survivors include his daughter and Tony-nominated actress Penelope Ann Miller.

Miller also wrote, produced and starred in the classic family film Savannah Smiles (1982), which was inspired by and named for his youngest daughter. It’s the story of a runaway girl (Bridgette Andersen) who forms an improvised family with the two escaped convicts (Miller, Donovan Scott) who find her.

Kim Tyler, a child actor of the 1960s best known for playing the eldest son in the 1965-67 NBC family sitcom Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, died of cancer Feb. 10 at his Hollywood Heights home. He was 66.

Tyler’s death was announced this week by his family.

Although his first TV credit was in a 1956 episode of The 20th Century Fox Hour, Tyler was most prolific through the ’60s, with with guest appearances on sitcoms including Hazel, The Addams Family, My Favorite Martian, My Three Sons and, in a recurring role, The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet. He played a pal of Ron Howard’s Opie in a 1962 episode of The Andy Griffith Show.
