Revisiting Shah Rukh-Salman-Madhuri’s Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam
Image
Subhash K Jha turns the focus on Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, which featured the epic cast of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Madhuri Dixit, that released in 2002.

The love triangle about a jealous husband(Shah Rukh Khan), his devoted wife (Madhuri Dixit), and a supportive friend (Salman Khan) who’s mistaken for the wife’s lover by her husband, seeks inspiration from a 1974 Rajesh Khanna-Mumtaz-Sanjeev Kumar starrer Aap Ki Kasam. In Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, the ornate packaging, top-heavy star cast, and the outmoded conventions of marital obligations and fidelity had the film trade very worried.

Though Madhuri hadn’t had much luck with Shah Rukh, she had a historic hit Hum Aapke Hain Koun with Salman Khan.

The film wasn’t only crucial for the doddering fortunes of multi-starrers but also for producer K.C. Bokadia, whose career fell on hard times in the 1990s after a couple...

Fashion diva Neeta Lulla shares her styling tips for working women
Image
Ace costume designer and fashion stylist Neeta Lulla, who has completed 40 years in the industry, has shared tips for women on how to look sharp yet stylish at work.

She has also shared tips for women to make their outfit look more appealing.

Neeta told to an entertainment portal: “A working woman is a force to be reckoned with, your clothes should reflect that inner strength and grace”

“Let your personal style shine through, you can take inspiration from East and West and pair a classic pencil skirt with an embroidered silk blouse,” is her second tip.

A third step for keeping the A-game for fashion includes: “Focus on classic, well-fitting items in neutral colours like black, navy, and grey. These pieces will mix and match easily, creating a foundation for versatile outfits.”

Transplant (2020)
Transplant Season 3 Episode 7 Review: Work to Rule
Transplant (2020)
Tensions continued to mount upon the doctors at York Memorial Hospital.

The Emerg nurses' work-to-rule action to protest the changes implemented by Dr. Devi didn't help matters on Transplant Season 3 Episode 7.

But their slowdown only brought to light problems that existed long before that.

The Oxford Dictionary defines the British concept of work to rule as "to follow official working rules and hours exactly to reduce output and efficiency, especially as a form of industrial action."

Neeta Devi means well. She's attempting to make the emergency department more comfortable for patients.

Also, Dr. Olsen, the medical director, and the board have given her the power to make changes to implement her policies.

But too many of those changes have fallen on the backs of the nursing staff, who make any hospital run as smoothly as it does by doing the little things off the books.

Hospitals profit by staying understaffed...

Transplant (2020)
Transplant Season 3 Episode 5 Review: Nadir
Transplant (2020)
Mags found herself right back where she started -- as a hospitalized cardiac patient.

And those who were there for her in her time of need suffered as a result on Transplant Season 3 Episode 5.

That was especially true for Bash, who has been everyone's whipping boy lately.

That's mainly because he's a nice guy and a Syrian immigrant who feels fortunate to be working, albeit below his skill level, at a Canadian hospital instead of washing dishes as he was when Bishop discovered him.

Also, until he became a Canadian citizen on Transplant Season 3 Episode 4, he feared that he would be found out and shipped back to a country where he's a wanted man.

But he shouldn't have had to be taking abuse from his girlfriend Mags, although it was understandable why he rolled with the verbal punches.

Bash blamed himself because he was sleeping when Mags' heart rhythm jumped.

Transplant (2020)
Transplant Season 3 Episode 4 Review: Multiple Choice
Transplant (2020)
It's a time of change at York Memorial Hospital, and that's not working out for much of the staff.

Most doctors labored to find their footing on Transplant Season 3 Episode 4, whether at work or in their private lives.

Not even Dr. Neeta Devi, the new Emerg director who replaced the beloved Dr. Jed Bishop, has been spared from this soul searching.

Neeta was hired to implement a patient-centric philosophy in the department to make the process more tolerable.

However, she's quickly learning what sounds good in an academic paper can be challenging to sell in a real hospital.

Even Dr. Neil Olsen, the arrogant medical director (is that phrase redundant?) who hired Neeta, backs her policy only as long as it doesn't inconvenience him.

Neeta is having to go along to get along. An example of this was, at the insistence of Dr. Novak and Dr. Singh, allowing Bash to...
