Los Angeles native Stevie Nelson has been working as a location manager and scout in feature films and television for over 20 years. Ms. Nelson is a founding member of the Location Managers Guild International (formally the Location Managers Guild of America) and has served multiple terms on the LMGI Board of Directors. A member of Teamsters Local 399, she is a former California On Location (COLA) award winner for Assistant Location Manager of the Year- Television and has been nominated numerous times for a COLA Location Team of the Year- Television for her work on "House MD", for Location Team of the Year- Features for "Into The Wild" and Location Team of the Year- Television for "The Mindy Project". She is a 2015 COLA winner for Location Team of the Year - Television for the ABC comedy series Fresh Off The Boat & a 2018 COLA winner for Location Team of the Year - Television for the HBO comedy series "Camping".
Ms. Nelson's photographic work has appeared in several juried photo exhibitions :

She is also co-founder & co-editor of The Compass magazine, the official magazine for the Location Managers Guild International.
