- I'm not ashamed to say that the first album by Level 42 is an absolute killer. Ask anyone who was into the jazz-funk scene of the early 80s. Back in those days, I used to follow this group around pubs, then abandoned them when they got yucky. But 'Love Meeting Love', from the first album, is the tune.
- Millennium Volunteers has really made volunteering cool for young people. In my day there were no proper opportunities for me to pursue my passions and interests. Through MV, young people can build on what they are into and make a difference to their local communities.

- When I was a kid I used to love Frank Spencer; there was something about him that transfixed me. As a physical comedian, Michael Crawford was amazing. But my favourite presenter is Barry Norman. He wrote his own scripts for his film shows and you could tell because of the unique way he presented. When I used to do my MTV Lick shows, I used to pretend I was him.
- I remember when Omar came out and then Jamiroquai came out. People tried to say that Jamiroquai was scoring all the hits because the lead singer is white. But the truth is, Jamiroquai wrote better pop songs. And although Omar was just as talented, if not more talented, his music was more specialist.
