Yasushi Nirasawa was born on 26 August 1963 in Tochio, Niigata, Japan [now Nagaoka, Niigata, Japan]. He was a production designer, known for Hellboy (2004), Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001) and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2000). He died on 2 February 2016 in Tokyo, Japan.
